    looks cool and all, but heres hoping that 11 and 12 are 16 - bit.. mega man 7 and the sega genesis remakes of mega man 1 - 3 were great (especially the music in the genesis remakes. imagine sonic and mega man music having babies).

    Megaman, still pretending your health bar matters, when the game kills you in one hit every chance it gets. How is easy mode going to change that?

    @Asbestos_Underwear: From what I gathered from the write up in Nintendo Power, the game itself still plays the same, but your margin of error increases. You still have to memorize patterns and such, but it will be easier to stay alive against enemies and easier to kill them.

    Meh.. what's the fun in playing Megaman if you won't feel the urge to smash your controller in rage?

    Seriously now, one of my favorite things about Megaman 9 was the music. And just from that trailer, I can tell it will be one of my favorite things from Megaman 10 too :)

    @CockroachMan: I loved the music too in Megaman 9 :-)
    I think capcom has balls to keep releasing new 8-bit titles in 2009 (and 2010) but I like it !
    I think Megaman 9 was the first Megaman game I finished (never had a nes, just played at my cousin's house but I don't think I finished any of the first ones). Can't wait to buy this one :-) [peace.ak]

    Not sure I like the idea of easy mode changing the level layouts though, couldn't you just adjust health and make one-hit kill things do normal damage?

    Oh well, I'll maybe be able to beat MM10 now, unlike 9.

    @Paradox me: the only thing hard about MM9 were the challenges. As a game though I still don't see how so many people have trouble with it.

    @Sparx: It seems you're the exception. If you had no trouble with MM9 whatsoever then I'd guess that you're actually good at these types of games. Not everyone can say that.

    I have trouble with a lot of games, I usually set 'em all to Easy right after popping the disc in. I'd imagine there are quite a few people out there like me who aren't up to the more difficult challenges, MM9 had a lot of them IMO.

    @Paradox me: I really shouldn't be the exception. I mean I played MM games when I was a kid but so did a lot of people so that doesn't make me anything special. And as far as gaming skills go I'm right around the average range, if not a little under, so its not like I'm god's gift to gaming or anything like that. There are some rough areas (namely the portals in Galaxy Man's stage) but nothing major. Its not like I just flew through it but its not as hard as Capcom and everyone is making it out to be.

    At least, traditionally Mega Man explodes if he so much as puts a toe in lava.
