Props on the inclusion of TWEWY. So much hype surrounded it, it was why my boyfriend and I bought DSes. And we loved the game. And with the occasional, heartfelt exception, few seem still to talk about it much. But I still haven't maxed out all my pins, and I won't stop playing till I do. A great game, and definitely a solid holiday purchase, I should think.

I dunno...I thought Civilization for the DS was a pretty sub-par game.

I've been playing Civ games since the first one came out ...what? 15 years ago?

I love them all...but the DS version is an insult to the veteran's intelligence.

It is a good game for a newcomer who has never played a Civ game before, but for a veteran player, it is an insult.

There's a lot I'd love to get or buy for myself.. but who knows. Decisions decisions.

My wishlist includes Motorstorm: PR, Eternal Sonata, Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, Resistance 2, Prince of Persia, nevermind at least 4 games coming out in 2009, and other platforms...

So I foresee many rentals in my future. Besides, I won't be done with the games I have by Christmas, so some games are going to collect dust for awhile no matter what.

I don't know what I'm getting... all the games I was looking forward to are getting bad reviews. Recent purchase Gears of War 2 is already over (I'll try to get the online achievements, and play through Insane... but 100,000 kills... really?) I might get Fallout 3... though I'm waiting for the dog armour pack to be bundled in.

@iliekpie: I don't, but that's because the PC problems popped up before I bought it. Also C&C 3, Far Cry 2, Left4Dead, Gears 2 and all the other titles I still love and play have gotten in the way.

I will buy it in a few months. No real rush since there is no online and I don't have to worry about there still being an online community when I do purchase.
