Why even put Spoonman or any song that has appeared on GH or RB on this list? Why would someone plunk down $60 for yet another music rhythm game that doesnt have the master track or the ability to play any other instrument. I understand the Wii has a casual auidence but I think even that casual auidence is saturated in terms of music games. The few people who are, Im sorry to say, dumb or unsavvy enough to pick this up instead wont propel this into making a profit.
With two full band games already on the market...there's just no room for single instrument games anymore.
Especially with how much song overlap there will inevitably be. I see this one and I think "Lots of RB stuff, and stuff that'll likely be in RB one day"
Boy, it sure is lovely to see a well-respected team broaden their horizons with quality, original products.
For the love of God, look. I'm not against more music games as long as someone has a clue in their heads as to what they're doing. A drum-only game? I'll be the first in line! That is, assuming it is a game that makes use of one of my DRUM controllers. I'm tired of this idea that you can simulate musical instruments with the Wii, in ways that defy any notion of logic. This is how it was on Wii Music, too, was it not? The drumming involves waggles and button presses rather than actually HITTING things, like on real drums...like on real drum simulators. Thanks, but no thanks.
Isn't air-drumming with the wiimote already in the wii version of Rock Revolution? Does any developer really want to be within smell distance of that product? Or is all that just a Monkey Wrench-induced hallucination?
While I'm not at all interested in this, why don't any games use two wii-remotes? Air-drumming with a remote and nunchuck? The balance would be all wrong!
Although I actually did enjoy the similar mini-game in Raving Rabbids.
