Kotaku is a gaming site.
CAD is no longer(or very rarely) a gaming comic.
Therefore, it has no place.
You could at least explain why you keep putting it up despite the hatred for it, the irrelevance of it, etc, if you're not going to stop putting it up.

It's kinda like when I make fun of my friend who's trying to learn Japanese...
"Toyota? Kikoman Mitsubishi, Sukiyaki su..."
It drives her nuts...

Whenever I speak in Vietnamese, my English friends make fun of my bad attempts with the ONLY word they know...
"Oh what dat? You want some phở, man? I give you monay for phở, man!"
10:15 AM
LOL! I wish I still had my Vietnamese friend around, I think we cringed when we went to see Ultraviolet.
Then again...anyone would cringe at Ultraviolet.

But come on d00d, I hate Jonas Brothers too, but at this point, making fun of them is too "cheap of a joke."
Also, here is today's GG Guys.

I agree, going after the Jonas Brothers is right up there with anything related to Kayne West...
But I lol'd anyway.

I hate Ctr-Alt-Delete.

The obvious objective is to remove CAD and put something better instead.
But since I don't really know how the selection process happens for Sunday Comics, presenting this as a suggestion.

Another plus: none of those strips require you to read three years of old strips to understand a convoluted, wannabe-soap-opera-style plot to even begin to understand the "jokes."

But I'm pretty damn sure there is absolutely no punchline to Ctrl Alt Del. Does this guy even know how to write? I'm serious, not trying to be incredibly insulting, (but I guess I am) but this guy really doesn't seem to get it. It's unnecessarily wordy, and it's trying to have a plot, which is stupid for a short web comic. And does it even have anything to do with gaming any more? Jeez.

Also (freaking broken edit button D: ) here's a great one.

Kotaku? It's a site about gaming, for the most part.
It is not a site about ridiculously poorly written drama.
So why, despite all the weekly complaints, despite the complete irrelevancy to the site, despite the abysmal brain-melting terribadness of Ctrl-Alt-Del, is it still put up weekly, despite NEVER BEING ABOUT GAMES?

Much better than "This is a terrible comic"

Ethan and Lucas don't even talk about games anymore, so the closest thing to gaming present in the comics is:
-Ethan works/owns a game store, though games aren't really mentioned that much. Doesn't count.
-That Rob guy who works there still talks about Counter-Strike all the time, as if we were still in the days where CS is only a few years old and that kind of guy even exists anywhere in the world. A tired joke that somehow still lives on: doesn't count.
-Lilah is a pro gamer, but this could really be ANY job, because it only comes up if Buckley wants to have some weird power struggle where Ethan is insecure about her being the breadwinner or something. Doesn't count.
-Come to think of it, you pretty much would never guess that Lucas even plays games, because I can't recall the last time his character even talked about them. Obviously doesn't count.
-Then there's Zeke, the shameless ripoff of HK-47 from Knights of the Old Republic, who is technically an Xbox. Doesn't count.
Which leaves the completely unrelated strips that don't feature of the characters and are actually about gaming. And the "sillies", which are essentially the same thing, only with more phoned-in art.
So yeah, if he cut out the whole "characters" and "storyline" thing, then at least his comic could actually be called a gaming comic, though that still wouldn't guarantee that it was actually any good.

You tell me which of those comics seems to have the slightest concept of how to tell a joke.
