    The only thing 'uncomfortable' about this game is how bad it looks.

    I get what they're going for but compared to the likes of Uncharted 2 it's just sad.

    Nah, I remember the first one having a stripper QTE, I liked the first DTR pretty well..

    The second DTR was horrible so here's hoping that this one is better.

    I agree, the story was pretty good but I remember it came out around the same time Max Payne came out and I HATED Max Payne....it bored the crap out of me.....

    Then again, me and my brother played Final Fight Street Wise....and that was just nuts!?!

    Why is every game developer trying to out do each other in the "fucked up city" category. Can't I play a nice city? Some place that doesn't make me want to kill myself? Some place with a decent school system? WTF!?!

    What is with every game needing a dog sidekick, seriously?

    This makes:

    1.)Fable 2

    2.)Fallout 3

    And now this. It just feels tacked on.D:

    So far, Im not impressed by shots or talk of this game. I was a pretty big fan of the first, but it all went downhill from there. And this seems to continue that trend. I dont understand the trend of japanese devs bringing back older ip and handing the reins over to western devs who have made nothing or garbage (golden axe, splatterhouse, final fight), and add ridiculous amounts of gore and darkness to the games. Guess what? It doesnt make them successful, I smell another dud.

    @shouryuuken: Are you kidding me?

    The first game was made by Namco Hometek - the North American headquarters for Namco. It was already made by American devs. Dead To Rights 2, at least the one that got released, was made by a 3rd party company in Europe.

    @wirebrain: i thought namco ltd had a hand in this. namco ltd make all the games i like by them.. but whatever.. my point still stands because at least namcohometek is still namco. not bottlerocket games who originally was making splatterhouse.. and the only other notable thing theyve done was make a poor sequel to the excellent mark of kri. then golden axe, which was made by makoto uchida (and admittedly wasnt a spectacular series after the coin-op), had a modern sequel dont by next level. the great team that helped capcom make final fight streetwise, and made iron man for sega. i mean.. secret levels made nothing but trash, why would sega hand over a long standing ip to them?

    @Bialia ಠ_ಠ: agreed. these kinds of games remind me of what made me stop liking mainstream rap. instead of realistic portrayals of things that can be somewhat hard to take in.. we get pieces that are obsessed with violence, guns, women, and filled with harsh language that starts to annoy after awhile. that kind of stuff sent me looking to other sources... which has happened with action games nowadays for me.
