So where is our Wing Commander/Elite/Privateer MMO?

I admit that Eve can be a very hard game to get into and some people will find it boring to play but that's just the way it is. The people that do stick with it however, discover a rich gaming experience like no other that really defines how an MMO should be.
I have a feeling that there will be a massive influx of players either coming back to or entering New Eden for the first time when the walk-in stations patch is released. That will be a great patch and the T3 customisable ships will be even better. Great things are in store for us 'spreadsheet' fans.
