My biggest complaint of Forza 2 was that the tracks were kind of dull. The tracks are actually fun and exciting now. Beautiful scenery with jumps, tight chicanes, crazy drift courses not to mention rollovers. I drove under a car flying over my head the other day. It's really amazing. My only criticism (and it's a really small one) is I wish they had some more really esoteric cars in there. Like a Citroen SM or Briklin SV1, stuff like that. But still it's just fantastic, if you love cars you will love it.

imo, burnout paradise gets repetitive entirely too fast. Gone are the challenges of the old games for racking up points in crashes, instead you can do it almost anywhere and effortlessly continue it for minutes ( i think my record was like 6 minutes or something, got bored ) #forzamotorsport3

GT5 isn't even out, and Yamauchi hinted at the new damage system that takes speed and impact angle into account. He also said we can change "every" part of the car.
Nobody denys that FM3 is awesome, but claiming to be the best without having to compete with any of the big GT games is not really something I take serious. #forzamotorsport3

Turn 10 didn't say FM3 was the was the best racer so far this generation, they said it was THE definitive racer of this entire generation.

With Forza 2 came so many things that us GT fans wished were in GT. We haven't seen this stuff yet, not even in Prologue (I mean, friend's leaderboards for each event isn't asking for the world).
FM3 brings us even MORE great features, like a "follow" list where you can follow the best racers, tuners, and painters without having to add them to your friend's list.
There are just so many areas that PD has to catch up on. FM2 set the bar for sim racers (which Prologue couldn't meet because it was a demo) and FM3 set a bar even higher. #forzamotorsport3

That is what I said before:
"How is GT5 trying to catch up with them if they haven't released the game yet!! Lets compare them when GT5 comes out."
The only thing that I am trying to say is that, lets compare Forza 3 with GT5 when GT is out, that way people don't jump on saying Forza 3 is better than GT5, only that.
@Juan Antonio Rubio Lara: the funny thing is that not even Forza 3 implements car damage well. Yes, I love Burnout Paradise or GTAIV car damage and would love some well done car damage for GT5. I know it is not going to be perfect, maybe far from perfect. Aside from that Juan, do you speak spanish? I am originally from Peru, but live in Canada.
@AOClaus: Of course, if car damage is implemented in another game like Forza and suddenly the GT fans say, we want car damage, we want car damage, we want car damage, well of course (not always), or at least you are going to try add car damage. The only bad thing is like Juan Antonio Rubio Lara said that it seems rushed. #forzamotorsport3

The rewind feature will only make you a worse player because even though you're not forced to use it, you inevitably will, and before you know it you can't get past one race in another (more realistic) game without trying to rewind.
As for the cockpits, all I had to do was play the demo to see that they were rushing to get this thing to market before the holiday season. Obviously it's more important to Turn 10 get moms to buy the game for Christmas, rather than spend more time making it look as good as GT5. #forzamotorsport3

This is my first real attempt at dissecting a race sim. I would say it's pretty good.
Would have liked to have a larger viewing angle, because in real life you are looking left and right into the corners and not so much dead on... but whatever.
With all the driving assists off, the game feels like a solid representation. #forzamotorsport3

Gran Turismo, classically, has been even less accessible (getting all the licenses just to be able to access the race events is incredibly annoying), but it sells really well, so there is this whole mystique of greatness the game has earned, and it has some [justifiably] vociferous supporters. #forzamotorsport3

and @goaliegeek: I really like Grid and the rewind feature but I think Grid is even better since it limits how often you can use it as opposed to this game where you can just use it constantly except for online. #forzamotorsport3

I downloaded the demo for Forza 3 and the minimalist menu design drew me in. It's what I wished my desktop looked like. This game just looks fantastic, and I'm a fan of pretty things. I'm sure I'll buy it eventually, but next month is Mushifuta month, and shooting awaits (Sorry, Turn 10)!
