First Warhammer City Capture Completed]]> Destruction claims victory in Europe as they achieve the ultimate realm-versus-realm objective in Warhammer Online - sacking the enemy capitol and killing their king.

In a battle six months in the making, members of the Destruction faction on European server Karak Eight Peaks laid siege to the Order capitol Altdorf. After a running 14-hour battle spent systematically taking over the city piece-by-piece, Destruction faced off against Order's leader Karl Franz and came out triumphant, capturing the city and placing the fallen king in a cage, all without using the exploits that made earlier successful sieges null and void.

For the many of you who've given Warhammer Online a pass, this is probably one of the biggest achievements the game has to offer. Having been playing the game on and off over the past month, I imagine the Destruction pride on that particular server must be completely unbearable at this point. Still, the best side won.

<![CDATA[Overlord II - Now With 50% More Evil!]]> Codemasters are to release a sequel to their 2007 minion-wrangling game Overlord that will pit the player-controlled title character and his chaotic army against an uptight, by-the-book Empire.

The original game challenged you to be either evil or really evil. This, apparently, was just not flippin' evil enough to satisfy developers Triumph.

Game director Lennart Sas told Eurogamer, "Now the choices are between lawful evil and chaotic evil, which usually translates to either enslaving the population or all-out scorched earth."

Major changes to the game include minions with proper names and personalities as opposed to just random flunkys. This will establish "relationships between master and underling" which frankly sounds a bit pervy. And evil. Definitely evil.

<![CDATA[Gallery: Overlord's Hideous Beauty]]> Triumph Studios' demonic Pikmin game Overlord just keeps getting uglier and uglier as time passes, and I mean that in a good way. It is a very unique sort of ugliness the monsters in the game possess. Something very Euro-fairytale about them. Interesting to note that while the monsters in the game are quite hideous, the human beings we've seen so far are even more grotesque. Check out the latest fifteen screenshots while pondering who the real monsters will be when Overlord is released this Summer.
