Perhaps these cute Fallout 3 guys are an offshoot of Penny Arcade's Vault 77 comic. Either way, I just want me a Vault Boy to yell at.

<![CDATA[ The Patapon BearBrick Vinyl Toy ]]>
Artist Rolito, the man behind the stylish graphics of Patapon has produced this vinyl toy based on the upcoming PSP game. The toy, which is part of the custom BearBrick series, will be available in stores on Feb. 26th. There's no word on the price, but given the size and what I've seen of other BearBrick prices it should be around $5.99 or so. But, don't quote me on that.

<![CDATA[ Chobot Gets (In)Action Figure ]]>

Jessica Chobot, whose PSP licking antics here on Kotaku lead to a writing gig on RedAssedBaboon and then a hosting gig on IGN, is getting her very own set of anime-styled action figures.

Apparently the folks at Southern Island were so enamored with the real Chobot when they met her at Comic Con, they decided they needed to make a couple of little statues of her. Each of the statues, designed by Kerry Shyver, will be sold as limited edition 500-piece runs. The foot-high statues will be hand numbered, but will not feature any licking... instead she will be nibbling on a 360 controller.

Fahey, another RAB alum, thinks they should drop the whole sexy writer angle and focus on a Fahey action figure, one that you can order but never actually ships because it keeps missing its flights.

<![CDATA[ The Wee Wii USB Drive ]]>
Joystiq's Wii Fanboy has a story up of a Wendy's Kids Meal toy, a USB thumbdrive and a Wii Remote... don't worry it has a happy ending. A gamer gutted one of those tiny Wii toy remotes from Wendy's and slapped in a USB thumdrive to create this wicked little device. Pretty damn neat idea, too bad he couldn't add a little nunchuck to it too.

<![CDATA[ The Transformer Handheld ]]>

Not all transforming robots can have cool names like Starscream or Megatron and turn into things like gi-normous scorpions or kick-ass 60s race cars. The Transformers and Decepticons need their support staff too, the bots that deal with communications, with video and with data. Meet POWER UP VT6, by day a handheld gaming system, by night a data hacker and mind-scrambler. Cool abilities, really bad name.

<![CDATA[ Video Review: Tetris Tower 3D ]]>

I just received Tetris Tower 3D in the mail from Firebox.

The game plays a bit like Connect Four meets Tetris. It's evil, but I kinda like it. The object of the game is to try and get a solid line across to score a point. The game both tells you which piece you need to drop and how much time you have left.

The thing that makes it evil is that you quickly shift from trying to make solid lines to totally screwing over your opponent after you get in the lead. That and you can't tuck falling pieces under overhangs, which really messes with your mind if you're a long-time Tetris player.

I probably would buy something like this just for the kitsch, value so the fun gameplay is an added bonus. My only complaints are that the game doesn't have an off switch or a way to crank up the volume. Oh, and $50 seems a bit excessive.

Check out the video on the jump to see the game in action. Yes, I totally pwned my 5-year-old son.

<![CDATA[ Super Mario Noisemaker Plushes ]]> smb_voice_figure_2_zhop.jpg

As usual, Wonderland brightens my day with a bit of silly toy fun. This time around, Super Mario noisemaker plushes. One's a Question Block, the other a turtle shell. It'd be kinda fun to hang those blocks up around the house and occasionally jump up to score some coin.

<![CDATA[ New Dead Or Alive, Brings New Dead Or Alive Crap ]]>

Just because Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 didn't exactly set the world on fire, doesn't mean its game goods can't. (And some will argue that the series is now produced to sell certain segments of the population life-sized character pillows.) This year, DOAX2 gets a Kasumi beach resort statue, which doesn't really look like its in-game counterpart. I mean, look at those thin ankles! Kasumi has chunky ankles!! And those jubblies, Kasumi has — er... Yup, the fake plastic part, they got that right.

<![CDATA[ New Pikachu Toy: Blight of Humanity ]]>

Pikachu is not your friend. Doesn't matter if toy maker Tomy has dubbed this torture device "Tomodachi Pikachu" (Friend Pikachu), the yellow pocket monster is the enemy and must be destroyed. And the 150 plus Pika words this stuffed demon speaks, thereby encouraging small children like my son to repeat over and over again? Hogwash. Those red light-up cheeks are a mere foreshadow to the blinding rage the product will ultimately unleash. That being said, I'll probably buy it for my son's birthday.

A Metal Gear doll? It can't be! When Metal Gear Solid 4 eventually hits stores next year, Japanese toy company Medicom hopes that you'll be poising this Snake toy and talking to yourself. No pricing or release info yet, but expect this 12 incher to ballpark at US $100 plus.

<![CDATA[ Samus Action Figure With Two Heads ]]>

Here it is dear reader, the only official Samus Aran figure ever produced! This was made back in 2003 by Joy Ride Studios, selling for around US $10. She has 12 articulated points; however, some, such as her shoulders, are restricted by her armor. The toy did include an unmasked Samus head! Though, we'd really prefer if this Samus kept her helmet on.

<![CDATA[ A Console for Pre-Pubescent Players ]]>

Mattel, the folks behind Nintendo's Power Glove and the Intellivision game console of yore, is back in the gaming saddle. The company is releasing a new game console called the Hyper Scan, which aimed at the "tween" (between 8 and 12 years old) market. Apparently, this bracket isn't quite ready for real hardware and needs training consoles. Um, okay. Sure.

The 32-bit system is CD based and merges paper card games with scanning technology. The discs go in the left side, while the cards are scanned over the red light on the right side. Players scan cards during play to update characters or save data. The system combines rewritable intellicards tech with "the fast-paced, button-mashing action of video games." It's about time! Because what's button-mashing with out writable cards? Nothing!

The game machine is packaged with an X-Men fighter and six game cards. The console boasts two controller ports, but includes only one joypad. Cough up that lunch money for an extra game cards and controller, kiddos. (Come this October, the Hyper Scan ships for US $70.) Me, I love the Hyper Scan. It's so bad!

The moniker "Comic-con" is slightly deceptive. We all know the convention is geared towards comic book geeks, but there are those occasional sprinkles for game nerds like us. Take this super cool Samus sculpture that was on display, for example. Any one that saw game-related goodness, do sent it along. We'd love to see it.

<![CDATA[ Custom Kratos Dolly ]]>

A Kratos dolly hand-sculpted is up on eBay for you to waste lunch money on. The seller explains that the figurine was "resculpted" from a Marvel Legends line of toys to match the PS2 game God of War. Likewise, things like the beard, toes, costume and paint detail are all impressive. At the time of writing, the bidding was hovering over US $90, with "was" being the keyword.

No, that's not a hair gel ad. Final Fantasy diehards will happy to know that main character Cloud Strife gets repainted. The figurine that was previously released wasn't exactly up to snuff. The character's motorcycle also is redone. That's nice of Square, considering that it's taken donkey's yonks for Advent Children to find its way Stateside.

<![CDATA[ Tiny Game Robot Steals Cigarettes ]]>

Chibi Robo is a Game Cube title about a tiny robot that goes around cleaning your house, feeding your pets and cooking your food. While Nintendo's official tagline for the game (Live the life of a robotic housemaid and discover drama and high tension hijinx in mundane spaces.) leaves a lot to be desired, the game is apparently an enormous hit in Japan.

Enter the Chibi Robo toy. It doesn't do anything other than sit on your desk and collect dust, but you can take some cool pictures of it stealing your cigarettes.
