    @fauxbravo: Oh, agreed, but I mean, that top picture is one of the most awkward, misplaced cover images I've seen. With sports titles, you need the action shot. The game isn't about the player; it's about the sport. #mlb2k10

    @Michael Dukakis: Yeah, thank god it's not just Jeter. Nice to have some love for the smaller teams.

    It would have been cool to see Zach Greinke on the cover. I'm not even a Royals fan, I just think he's an amazingly under-appreciated player because of his market. #mlb2k10

    I'm wondering if people who take these marketing surveys even worry about legal action that might be taken against them if they leak this kind of stuff.

    I've taken some game related marketing surveys and I've seen a glimpse or two of future titles in some franchises but I worry about legal action :)

    Excitebike flowchart = not funny.

    I mean, it describes the way Excitebike is played in a non-humorous manner. Like, that's actually how you play the game. You could probably make a similar flowchart for most other early-era NES or Atari games.

    GU was good (though, as others have said, poorly drawn), PA, the Excitebike flowchart, PvP (if only for the very last line), even Virtual Shackles. Sigh. It talkes all kinds, I guess. :-P #sundaycomics

    Dude, back in the day...you didn't have game endings, you had a 'Thanks for Playing' or a High Score screen.

    Back then...we anit have fancy 15 minute endings...you beat the game and MAYBE you would get a awesome pixel portrait of your character being awesome. MAYBE...

    @Outkastprince: Kids these days with their motion sensitive controllers. Back in my day 2 buttons and we liked it. And the controllers were made purposefully to not be ergonomic. You would end up a gaming session with rectangular indentations in your fingers, but dagnabit we liked it.

    @(Starman) Starman: I've....actually punched a teenager in the face. I didn't mean too. It was a reflex.

    It kinda happened like this, I was in Gamestop and I was talking to the clerk, I preordered something on the PS3 because it's the system I own. Then this 360 gamer came up behind me and started fanboying.

    Be in mind, I don't hate any system....you can own 360, Wii whatever. All I ask is that you be respectful.

    Well, he started laying in on me, even the clerk asked him to chillax but he wouldn't stop. He started talking about 'You're a girl and you don't know nothing about gaming, real gamers have XXXX and this, how he started playing real games on the PSone, Dreamcast wasn't shit etc...'

    I turned to him and looked at him...then he flicked my Cloudy wolf button. Which was on my chest... so I socked him in the lip.

    He laid there on the floor for a moment, sorta shocked...then I retorted with 'Stop being a tool little boy. You bore me.' Then I laughed like Iori from King of Fighters and
    walked out.

    I deplore violence. I'm really a peaceful girl....

    @Rachel Fogg: Ugh, believe me, I know and deplore those types of fanboyish people. Sometimes you don't want to believe that those type of people exist in life and only on the internet, but there they are, waddling in their stupidity and idiocy.

    But even more, they ripped on you because you were a GIRL?! That is just utterly rude to begin with, but it shows a lot on what and how that person thinks. I wouldn't be surprised if he's some third-cut elitist jock at all.

    Anyways, I hate violence too, but sometimes, it's justified to shut disrespectfully annoying people like the ones you've met. Talking and persuasion won't help you out in this case, since he can just flat-out deny whatever you say, so what to do?
