    Excitebike flowchart = not funny.

    I mean, it describes the way Excitebike is played in a non-humorous manner. Like, that's actually how you play the game. You could probably make a similar flowchart for most other early-era NES or Atari games.

    Now the Ken flowchart? That shit's funny for the same reason that MNC's comic isn't. #sundaycomics

    GU was good (though, as others have said, poorly drawn), PA, the Excitebike flowchart, PvP (if only for the very last line), even Virtual Shackles. Sigh. It talkes all kinds, I guess. :-P #sundaycomics

    @Outkastprince: Kids these days with their motion sensitive controllers. Back in my day 2 buttons and we liked it. And the controllers were made purposefully to not be ergonomic. You would end up a gaming session with rectangular indentations in your fingers, but dagnabit we liked it.

    @(Starman) Starman: I've....actually punched a teenager in the face. I didn't mean too. It was a reflex.

    It kinda happened like this, I was in Gamestop and I was talking to the clerk, I preordered something on the PS3 because it's the system I own. Then this 360 gamer came up behind me and started fanboying.

    Be in mind, I don't hate any system....you can own 360, Wii whatever. All I ask is that you be respectful.

    Well, he started laying in on me, even the clerk asked him to chillax but he wouldn't stop. He started talking about 'You're a girl and you don't know nothing about gaming, real gamers have XXXX and this, how he started playing real games on the PSone, Dreamcast wasn't shit etc...'

    I turned to him and looked at him...then he flicked my Cloudy wolf button. Which was on my chest... so I socked him in the lip.

    He laid there on the floor for a moment, sorta shocked...then I retorted with 'Stop being a tool little boy. You bore me.' Then I laughed like Iori from King of Fighters and
    walked out.

    I deplore violence. I'm really a peaceful girl....

    They aren't super difficult, but they aren't super short. Check out mario world, some of the first ten to fifteen levels are kinda hefty and have a lot of stuff to them. #newsupermariobroswii

    @Demonbird: I was watching that video too, but if you want to pass everything then you're not collecting coins, points, and those Star Coins which unlock content. Very counter productive, but if you want a speed run then there's the benefit. #newsupermariobroswii

    @Demonbird: Lately I've been getting the impression that people have to purposely kill themselves to even see the Continue screen. Never once did I see that in Galaxy because every time I started the game I'd be given multiple lives by Peach.

    If it's anything like the DS game, I think more people are going to lose lives to obtain Star Coins and the secrets in levels. #newsupermariobroswii

    That is a very cool video that does show a neat mechanic related to the multi-user ground pound.

    Okay, all of you people that attack anyone that even says anything that seems to be even a little against anything in this game, this is your cue!

    Why did it have to show exactly how to do it in an exact level pulled from the game? Why not have a standard level and have text boxes saying, 'The Multi-Ground Pound will turn enemies into points! If you have enough enemies on screen, you can get extra lives, like this!' Then it could show Mario and Luigi and a Toad freezing some enemies and ground-pounding them as an example. This video takes the thrill of discovery out of that level. Rather than the user looking at the situation (with the many multiple enemies) and thinking, 'hey, maybe we could get some lives out of this!' the user instead goes 'hey, this is the exact spot that one tutorial video showed!'

    You know what, I'll post this comment just so people can be mad. Screw trying to have a conversation. Just get mad, people. #newsupermariobroswii

    @vid3oman64: To give the gamers an in-game example, I'd assume. Some (younger most likely) gamers would understand in theory but wouldn't understand how to apply it to a level in the game. And some maybe wouldn't ever realize you could do some of these tricks.

    Plus it's completely voluntary, so I doubt spoiling it will kill anyone's holiday. #newsupermariobroswii

    @vid3oman64: RAWR!! See? I didn't want to go all Gerbil on you, but you sort of ask for this.

    The thing is that Mario is a casual family game, can't see the "hardcore" type player running for these video or super guide. But for children or even older parents, this is good stuff.

    Considering that gamers regardless of this feature would have just posted numerous youtube videos on this game, this is pretty much just convenience at best. #newsupermariobroswii

    Anyway, it's possibly because there's more levels that feature the same situation. Maybe the video only offers one example of an actual level featured in the game to give the revelation of what could have been done in the given scenario and how having multiple players can benefit you throughout the levels previously traversed.

    You'll still have your "thrill" from discovering all the other possibilities in the game, heaven forbid they showed one actual level. They could have made a make-believe world for this hints, but is it that much of a problem to see hints from actual levels? #newsupermariobroswii

    @vid3oman64: I've been thinking something similar. Those being irritated by the hints should remember that Super Mario World had the same things... hit a hint box and a text balloon would come up and there was a hint to read. You didn't have to read them if you didn't want to, and they didn't [i]show[/i] you what to do, just hinted at it. A better approach. Of course advances in technology from the SNES to the Wii allow this to be a video instead of text... I think this is cool, but I like your idea better. #newsupermariobroswii

    They're all saying "look inside" because there was something printed on the bottom of the inside of the can. I forget what, maybe a contest or something (this was, like, fifteen years ago), but if you're that curious you can probably find some empty cans on eBay.

    @bakana: Actually, I think the only original flavor in there is Luigi Berry... The rest were just repackagings of normal Shasta flavors. Princess Toadstool Cherry is just Black Cherry Shasta without the dark-colored dye. #newsupermariobroswii

    @Chesu: Hmmm... At the time I had no idea what 'Shasta' was, much less that the Nintendo pops were released by it. Actually, I still have no idea what 'Shasta' is. It must not be a big fixture in NE Ohio or Pennsylvania, and checking the website, they don't have an apple flavor anymore...

    So, once again, thank heavens for Jones Apple soda! #newsupermariobroswii

    Kind of disappointed, because I'm 99% sure I won't get my copy in the mail tomorrow. My MW2 order from the same site didn't come until 3 days after release, so I'm guessing Ill be waiting a while for this one too. It sucks,but at least I saved 10$. stoked. #newsupermariobroswii
