While its nice that they're doing this I'm not sure how many people care. It isn't like adding trophy support at this point is going to get them any extra sales. It makes me wonder why they even bothered putting in the effort.
@zgreenwell: Devs can't win with that attitude. If they do things just to get sales, people complain. If they do things for gamers that won't influence sales, people complain. I for one am pleased about this. I was going to get this for the 360 for the achievements (and I love me some tomb raider!) when I get around to it, but the graphics looked better on PS3 so now maybe I'll get it for that and see what the trophies are.
@excel_excel: Not to invalidate your cause but is there a whole lot of need for a trophy patch for MGS4? I can't think of all that much in the game that would be trophy worthy.
I could have sworn that this DLC includes some new puzzles and levels and what not. It's not like it's just a new skin, it is a completely different way of playing the game. Less plodding around methodically more tear-arseing around like a dervish.
Not into TR myself, but this looks worth a sniff...though it should perhaps have only been £5? Not sure what 800 points translates to in real money as I only have a PS3. Gosh I hate that point system, I suppose Xbox owners are used to it by now, but it makes Microsoft's pricing a mystery to me.
I suspect this is spoiling the story of the original game, so that people who haven't picked it up yet have even less incentive to do so? Awesome idea if that's the case.
I find the recurrence of these enhance "evil more powerful dopplegangery" kind of lame from a story point of view.
It does seem to add something new to the Tomb Raider game play but it is not something you wouldn't find in other games like any Spider-man Game with black costume option, the already mentioned Prince of Persia (Dark Prince) or even Jack and Daxter.
On a separate note aren't all dopplegangers required to wear a goatee?
this looks like prince of persia with no elika. to those of you who have not played the new Prince of persia you should, you could probably beat it in a rental. the grahpics are like nothing ever seen before, it is like playing through a painting, kinda like okami
@jslizzle: And that's really the only good thing about, it looks nice. Now the level design, the dialogue, and fighting, the QTEs, the fact that closure to the story costs 10 additional dollars, that's all really bad. Looks good though, really nice. When it doesn't glitch and the floor disappears (PS3 port issue?) I'm really unhappy with it.
@Lokno: MAn, the new PoP just keeps sounding worse and worse! Paying for the epilogue? (in other words: THE ENDING!) I'm glad I didn't buy the game. But just watching a cutscene from it on Youtube made the decision for me. Horrible voice acting and script.

@Kyolux: You make a fair point.
I suppose a speed run would be trophy worthy too. I could see a few trophy possibilities but I didn't find MGS4 to have a whole lot of replay value.

Not that I mind now. It's been a long time since I have played.

I take it the costumes are more like ones seen in the video than they were last time I played?
