Brentalfloss is back at it again, discovering clues to Toad's sexual orientation in the lyrics to the Super Mario Bros. 2. Or at least the ones he made up for it.

I guess the link to Sunday's National Equality March in Washington D.C. everything cool, right? Brental (Mr. Floss) says he'll be in attendance. You should be able to spot him, he'll be wearing a vest and (mushroom) cap. I hope.

<![CDATA[Mario Family Figure Set Signed by Miyamoto on eBay]]> Here's a nice little find for you Nintendo collectors, especially for those of you who like MIB. Well, technically I suppose the MIB has been ruined by the signature of the genius Miyamoto, but what are you gonna do? This is a boxed set of Nintendo figurines gotten from Japan's awesome Club Nintendo and signed by miyaoto himself complete with little quotes for each of the characters. The set in this form is not available in the U.S. (although you can get the individual ones at the Nintendo World Store) and of course the signature makes it ultra rare. At the time of the writing of this article, there were six bids bring the price up to a reasonable $46 although the reserve has not been met yet. If you want this precious, precious Nintendo treasure for your very own, you have until July 25.

<![CDATA[Toad, Drug Addict]]>

Toad and his "Mushroom People" brethern of the Mushroom Kingdom are a peaceful lot. When not being tormented by Bowser, the Mushroom People like to go loco with the giggle smoke and hippieflip. And who's to blame them! Those Koopa Troopas are stress inducing.

Thanks Fletch!

<![CDATA[Marching Marios Invade West Hollywood]]>

Every year nearly half a million people invade Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood to dress up and party down during the street's annual costume party. Judging by pictures from this year's event, about half of the partiers went as Mario or Luigi.

<![CDATA[Remote Controlled Robo-Mario]]>

Gizmodo sends word of a cool new Nintentoy: The Super Mario Robot. The little action figure walks around with the help of a wired remote in the shape of a NES controller. Despite the A and B buttons, mini-Mario can't jump or butt-slide. Hit the jump for some video of robot-Mario taking on robot-Toad.

<![CDATA[Keep Your Cookies Safe With Nintendo]]>

These cookie jars date from the Super Mario World era and not only store snacks, but also play music when opened. Finely crafted painted porcelain, Peach (above) and Toad (after the jump) were located on eBay. Mario and Luigi are still M.I.A., presumably wondering around Mushroom Kingdom, pouncing on Koopa cookies.

<![CDATA[Remote Controlled Mario And Toad]]>

What's cooler than Mario and Toad toys? Remote controlled Mario and Toad. What's cooler than that? Many things, but for now, these will do. The mini mecha walkers can be moved about by a retro Famicom controller. The set of two go for around US$40. Wonder if pressing "A" makes them jump...
