"BOOYAH. Not racist," exclaims Tiny Tina in the newest Borderlands 2 DLC, out today. It's not every day you hear video game characters discussing racism. Especially those who have had history with the concept, warranted or not.
Gearbox, the creators of the Borderlands series, say the next campaign DLC—Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep—is the biggest piece of content for their sequel yet. More areas to wander, more guns to fire and, more importantly, more enemies to shred to pieces.
It’s ok if you’ve never played Dungeons and Dragons before. You can still appreciate Borderlands 2 shoved into a fantasy-trope skin. Why? Because the whole thing is narrated by Tiny Tina with a few eye-rolly comments from Lilith or an adorably clueless remark by Brick.
Today Gearbox acknowledged the next piece of downloadable content coming to Borderlands 2 is indeed named Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep.
Gearbox showed off a little trailer that looks like Tiny Tina is playing something of a Dungeons and Dragons-esque board game, but Brick, Mordecai and Lilith aren't quite understanding her rules.
Oh, Tiny Tina. We're practically like sisters. You're tiny, I'm tiny. You're named Tina, I'm named Tina. You were born in a ravaged Pandora, surviving on your own and getting your kicks out of exploding bandits and I... oh that's where the similarities stop.
