It's OK. If you take the already microscopic Tingle out, it'd be nothing special. Good, not $50 good.
The problem with King of Games is that, from what I've seen, they have tasteful designs, but they just aren't that great. For the coin they're asking for, you'd expect them to 1UP the competition, and they actually may, but that's because there is no competition. Definitely not bad, but I feel like no one's gotten gaming apparel right yet. It needs to climb a beanstalk to a higher standard.
I wish Pokemon151 with their edgy PokéShirts was still around, they were on the right track.
@Protector one: Yeah, I'm not seeing much room for gaikoku addresses in the registration form. Then again, my kanji is ish. Anyone who has managed international shipping on this site, please to post your advice for us.
Let's see... there's the original, the arcade relese... a Famicon Disk System version... the Satteleview version... 64... and Excite Truck and ExciteBots as spiritual successors.
@Orian: Why yes, Tingle is quite popular in Japan. In parts of Europe as well. Tingle isn't so popular in the US, and other parts of Europe.
When I mean 'isn't', that sadly translates to 'disliked'. Tingle isn't well received by western audiences, and is partly because he is seen more as a stereotype than a quality character.
I can show you one character that is hated on a global level.
That character, is Jar-Jar.
Compared to Jar-Jar, Tingle has a lot of stuff going for him.
@ShadowOdin isn't american: There's not a single instance of it being suggested that Tingle is supposed to be gay. He wears tights and does little dances, yes, but that's meant to convey whimsy, not homosexuality. People in America just go into a gay-induced panic at any depiction of a dude who's not appropriately macho.

The DSiWare stuff is more akin to tools, and it was likely made by TOSE or some random third-party dev.
Tingle's Balloon Fight is just that - Ballon Fight with Tingle. And it was not even available to the general public.

The theme for the next Tingle is 'woman'.
What's next, 'car', and then 'fame'?..
