@mechanabeshin: So that's what it was called! I couldn't remember the name for the life of me.

I used to play that game for hours, even though I could never get past the race on the cruise ship. I somehow always ended up in the pool or bashing into the weird angular corners of the track. I guess reacing with a keyboard isn't the best of options.

@McWhammer: yeah, when you're heading in on it face first. plus motorstorm actually has physics. on this, you are probably anchored to the ground and you do some crazy ass back flip when you go up a ramp or crash into something. if you touch a wall in motorstorm you will skid along side it, unless ofcourse, it happens to be a bumpy rocky hill (like it always is then i would expect one of the rocky protrusions to have affected the car in some violent manner, or it would be utterly unrealistic, and lazy.

I guess you and I define shovelware differently. This looks more like Burnout Paradise RC Edition. If it's fun and reasonably priced then how is that a bad thing??

I am intrigued. Will keep an eye out.

Also, am I the only one noticing how many toy/RC racers the PSN has by now, with this addition on the horizon? Kinda crowded there, almost.

@KommanderKeith: It would be racist to not run black people down with RC cars. You would be treating them differently than everyone else, which is racist, whether the treatment is positive or negative. This game is beign politically correct by treating that non-existing fake black person like it would every other fake person in that game.

Commenting on this site can be frustrating, because if you actually have something smart to say that is at all lengthy you could start thinking your comment is going to make it to the first page; but by the time you're done 50 other people have added single sentence comments dooming yours to be on page 4 and shrunken to 5 words and a "+" sign.

I agree, without the sleeping part. I've been waiting for a game like this. Hot Wheels games never lived up to the mini-car standards for gaming, so I am excited after viewing these screenshots.

I just hope it doesn't cost too much.

@Revenant: Which, quite frankly, sucks.

There's a random few PSN titles that I've had my eyes on; that I may purchase if only I could try them. Crash Commando being one off the top of my head. Heck, I only purchased the first Penny Arcade title because I tried out the PC demo.

I don't know if it's because of bandwidth concerns, plain laziness or something else, but this is one area Xbox Live trumps the PSN.

At least the disc based games generally get demos, which is good at least.
