Wow, they're going to make everything in the game like christmas and then blow it all to hell. That almost seems worth paying to see, even if it will be short lived.

It was a pretty good Diablo clone MMO. If you're still interested, they increased the XP by a large amount, increased the drop chance for phat lewtz and increased the drop rate of special currency to buy from certain vendors.

I can't help but feel sorry for the few hundred players and subscribers. I can only imagine if you went from Auto Assault to Tabula Rasa to Dungeon Runners.

See, this is part of the reason why I don't want to get into MMOs. Most all of them risk going down under and you lose the hundreds of hours you put into a character when that happens.

I could play WoW, but then again the other part of the reason why I don't play MMOs is due to the fact that watching paint dry is much more fun than playing an MMORPG.

@RockyRan: Dungeon runners was not a MMO more of a online dungeon crawler like Diablo. It was also Free to play with ad supported and a store where you could buy new stuff.

Thats too bad since I had bought it and played it during a nice break period I had and found it quite amusing. Simple yet amusing.

Like a more modernized diablo mixed with WoW type off the wall loot.

That's a shame for the players who liked it, moreso the developers. All that work on the game, the world looked pretty nice in those videos.. and now it's all dead. Too bad. Personally I wasn't really interested in an MMOFPS, doesn't make a ton of sense to me.

As for the ending, wow that was disappointing. Just standing around at the very end and a disconnection message. How about, I dunno, ending mid-battle, or with a huge explosion, some sort of cutscene based on whether the players succeeded in defending, anything else would have been better. Also, as for that first video.. if you're going to spend your time playing the end of an mmo, why stand around in some city looking at yourself? ... I would've wanted to see whatever was going on, if anything.

Lol, that video must be from The Escapist or something cause they have those stupid Halo Wars ads everywhere, too... and I hate the way it shows OVER your video, but the video doesn't even bother to get a headstart on loading either... Meh...

Ok...........well there's 3 minutes and 6 seconds I'll never get back.

Can you imagine what it'll be like when they close WoW's servers? They'll have to replace the GM's with suicide hotline experts.

Ah, that's too bad. Tabula Rasa wasn't terrible, heck, i'd even venture to say it wasn't that bad, but it never really found it's audience. Being shut down so soon after launch is never good. But hey-At least it lasted longer than Hellgate London.

@Danny Page: That was the impression they were giving before the event.

Good riddance, really; that was the first and last genuinely interesting idea they came up with, and it was STILL half assed and misrepresented in the end.
