The revoltech Imas dolls were fairly unpopular, largely due to them looking like the designers took 5mins to carve out the head moulding and another 5mins for everything else. Pretty sure it went for like 75% off on Amazon at one point, perhaps less elsewhere.
@muu: The Revoltechs look bland, and the MegaHouse figures only look a step higher than that, even if they mimic the art style and character design of the games.
In the meantime, I will patiently await my Nonowa Nendoroid.
@mintycrys is HOT for Bayonetta: the static figures look alright if that's what you're talking about. The smaller Kotori-san figure was more than worth the triple markup I ended up paying last year. Friends sent me several of those Revoltech Frauleins, they were creeping me out so I put them back inside the closet. Hope they don't go all Talking Tina on me.
And now they have a Nonowa-san nendoroid? My god that thing's gone far since its sudden birth. Wish the Imas threads on Nejitsu was still as lively as it was when that happened (late 2007 I think?) -- nowadays it seems to be nothing more than a bunch of Voice Actress fans that know nothing of FF11.
Good Lord, I haven't seen this many strange misshapen female forms, blank empty stares and completely empty heads since I walked past the queue waiting to see the Twilight film.
I actually really enjoyed her voice work in Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (Rumbling Hearts) and Otoboku and as a member of Aice5. (Anybody out there know what I'm talking about?)
@GwennBlackfeather: Credited as Tomoko Ishibashi, 'cuz when you do eroge, you never go by your real name, unless you're Minami Kuribayashi, who clearly doesn't give three shits about four shits.
@Horrid DCD: Damn you, you horrible person! I didn't know she was the same age.
Your telling me that all that time I lusts after her thinking she's young like mid 20's to find out I was fantasizing older woman! I expect a group like Perfume to be that old but at least I would know about it.
You got me again Japan, bravo what's next? Would the next idol that I'd ogle would be a trap?

I suppose SOME creepiness had to stick with him, having a brother like Jason.

Despite having a wide range of tones, all her personae seem to be batshit crazy (unlike the actual characters).

Watching her make bizarre noises fighting noises while wearing random modeling outfits is just too funny.
