Much of The Witcher’s lore is built around the Conjunction of the Spheres, a cataclysmic event where two worlds briefly became one. This Witcher 3 glitch is kinda like that, only it’s in a brothel.
This is the best.
Although the Heart of Stone expansion’s collector’s edition had some nice physical Gwent cards, Waffleguru’s version of the addictive mini-game is much more ambitious than that.
Sword performer Alan Padziński doesn’t just fight with Witcher swords. He knows how to make them, too.
Gaunter O’Dimm, one of the stars of The Witcher 3’s expansion Hearts of Stone, is a mysterious dude. Turns out he’s also a sneaky one, hidden so well in the background of the game that even its biggest fans couldn’t find him.
Now this is a treat. The Witcher 3 has easily been my favourite game of 2015, so it’s a pleasure to showcase a big collection of artwork that went into the game’s development and promotion.
Hearts of Card is a mod for The Witcher 3. When active, it lets you walk up to an enemy, draw your sword and...the second someone takes damage, physical combat is replaced by an impromptu game of gwent against the opponent.
The Witcher 3 took home the grand prize at this year’s 2015 Game Awards, beating out Bloodborne, Fallout 4, Metal Gear Solid V, and Super Mario Maker to win Game of the Year.
Many things happen over the course of your adventures in The Witcher 3. Some are forgettable. Most are far from it.
Don’t look now, but your favourite video games are being infiltrated by the humble playing card.
...fantasy herbalists are basically just drug dealers.
You can’t always get what you want.
Heart of Stone, the new expansion for The Witcher 3, basically consists of three long, experimental and amazing new quests. Kirk spoke the other day about the first one, but I now want to talk about the second.
A month or so ago, I would’ve told you I was done playing The Witcher 3. Turns out that’s not the case.
There were some exploits in The Witcher 3 that let people harvest hides and pearls for gold. If you used them to make a quick buck, well, the game’s developers know. And they’re sending someone after you.
People don’t only love CD Projekt RED because The Witcher 3 was great. The company released 16 DLCs for free, talked openly about the game’s budget and profits, and included a “thank you” note in the box. It might be brilliant PR, but after speaking with the studio’s co-founder, there’s something else there, too.
And now for a ridiculous moment you can experience within the new Witcher 3 expansion, Hearts of Stone.
