    This is a downloadable game? Damn. I'm assuming that it's PSN exclusive because it doesn't look like it'd be possible on Xbox Live due to size restrictions, but I could be wrong and freely accept that.


    Just another excuse to blast "Holy Wars...The Punishment Due" (Megadeth song), I guess :D

    @Man In Gauze is an obscure reference to Courage the Cowardl...: Easily possible, Battlefield 1943 looks "too good" to be an XBLA game. I don't think the size restrictions are as restrictive any more, but I'm not an Xboxist I'm a PS3er so perhaps someone more knowledgeable can step in here?

    Punisher War Zone was a pretty good movie, extremely violent. Worth seeing if you haven't. Also, no Travolta.

    @weeman_com: By older one I hope you are referring to the Dolph Lundgren film. If you are referring to the Tom Jane/John Travolta movie, then I am ashamed. The newest War Zone movie and the old Lundgren film capture the Punisher's personality(lack of one) perfectly. He's a cold, withdrawn sociopath. Definitely not someone who chums it up with his neighbors like he was doing in the horrible Tom Jane flick.


    Anyway, wish this was coming for XBLA. Looks fun.

    Man, I hope Russian "2.0" (fans know what I mean) will be a playable character. Just please don't put Demon Punisher in there.


    As a comics fan, and since it's a cheapie, I'll probably get it. Still, looks kinda crappy, but it could be fun in a Quake Arena-knockoff kinda way. With a game like this, it's all about balancing the weapons and some nice level designs, and you're set.

    @lolgreg prays to Joe Pesci: Yeah, I think you need to play The Punisher for the CPS-1 Arcade System. The Genesis/Mega Drive version was a workable port, but you really gotta go for the real thing.

    Oh, and the new movie can shampoo my dog's crotch. Tom Jane is the only Punisher for this guy.
