New King Of Games Tees Available Now!! Hey, remember when the King of Games announced it was making that sweet Kid Icarus tee? It's available right now, should you have the 4900 yen (plus shipping!) required to make it yours. No, not cheap. KOG also drops word that older styles have been reprinted, if there's some officially licensed Nintendo T you've always wanted.

<![CDATA[The King Of Games Does Kid Icarus, Kids]]> On the left, The King of Games' new Kid Icarus t-shirt. On the right, new kid sizes of The King of Games t-shirts. Both go on sale (in Japan) next Friday at midnight Japan time. If you've ever thought to yourself, "I've always wanted a rather expensive Kid Icarus t-shirt" or "I'm a little person and would like a Mario Bros. t-shirt" you now know where to go. No word just yet on if they'll show up in the English language shop, but we'll bug KOG until they tell us.

Oh, they look quite nice don't they? The Kid Icarus tee will run you about $46 USD, with kiddy stuff at about $37 USD. Totally fair! Yep. More than fair.

<![CDATA[The King Of Games Brings Back Nintendo Classic Tees]]> If you were too slow to have picked up one the many coveted Nintendo shirts designed by The King of Games, you'll soon have your chance to make reparations for your mistakes. The The King of Games royalty have reprinted a number of their most sought after shirts, including the original Mother 1+2 Starman tee, the Legend of Zelda 20 Anniversary tee and the Super Mario Bros. Fantastic Adventure tee. There are a dozen re-releases due to hit the online store on July 1st, so get your credit cards warmed up. While lovely and well-designed, The King of Games does not come cheap!

In other news out of the KOG camp, the t-shirt maker is planning to sell give away The King of Games book covers starting on July 14th—but only to Japanese consumers. Yep. Book covers. The Japanese love 'em! I'm not sure why, but they're everywhere.

Since I haven't bought a t-shirt in over a week, I think it's high time I make with the credit card abuse and snag that Fantastic Adventure number.

<![CDATA[The King Of Games Mario Kart Jersey]]> In a rare nod to a Super Nintendo era game, t-shirt production house and official Nintendo licensee The King Of Games has announced their next shirt will be based on the SNES classic Super Mario Kart. Titled "Super Mario Kart Grand Champion" the baseball jersey will go on sale March 28th to visitors of the "Nintendo Museum" in the Hankyu department store in Osaka. How's that for out of reach (goddamn it)?

No word on whether the shirt will be sold online through the site's English store, but you can be sure I'll be pestering them until I get an answer. Lots of detail on the shirt print over at The King of Games.

<![CDATA[Zelda 20th Anniversary Hoodie In Action]]>

That's Kotaku's-man-in-Tokyo Jean Snow in that killer The King of Games 20th Anniversary Zelda hoodie. It went on sale January 9th. Fret not, the Japan-based KOG site ships internationally. Yes, that means you too can wear this! Just like Jean Snow! And like all good things, these hoodies come at a price: 9,800 yen (US $80) plus shipping. We've featured KOG's Nintendo licensed goods before, and you know, we'll probably do it again. 'Cause game threads don't get any cooler than this.
