Worms 2: Armageddon is the sequel to Worms Armageddon, released 10 years ago for the Dreamcast, PC, PlayStation, and Nintendo 64. The gameplay is tried and true: use various weapons to take out the opposing teams' worm soldiers, taking into account trajectory, wind, and the sheer enjoyment of worm killing.

The King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match takes The King of Fighters '98, adds a few more characters, and kicks the whole thing up a notch with Xbox Live support for a little 1-on-1 action. Sure, The King of Fighters XII comes out in a month, but this one has Mai in it.

Both games will be available early Wednesday morning for 800 Microsoft points apiece.

<![CDATA[King of Fighters '98 Getting Xbox LIVE Arcade Release]]> A Tokyo Game Show 2008 list of games leaks that The King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match will be released as an Xbox LIVE Arcade game. The game was originally released in arcades and SNK's Neo Geo and later ported to the Dreamcast and Playstation. There's no date for the title, but SNK recently released KOF '98 Ulimate Match for the PS2 earlier this summer. The game even got a Japanese arcade re-release this year, running on Taito's TypeX hardware.

No word on pricing for the XBLA version or a release date.
