I picked it up for $20 or so and don't regret it. My friend and played the 3 inning demo for the longest time until we frankly got sick of it. That's the main reason we didn't pick the game up, is everything you could want is packed in the demo already.
I hope for this iteration they fix the fielding and poor base running controls. I'd also like to see a multi-season mode or the ability to create a pitcher through their "main story" game. Being able to trade/update the rosters would be nice too.

We played the demo for like 4-6 months. Then I picked up the Bigs a year or so later. What I SHOULD have said is that the main reason I didn't pick up the Bigs right away is because the demo experience has the entire game essentially.
That said, I prefer an arcadey game like the Bigs instead of the MLB the Show game which made at bats really complicated and difficult by comparison.
