Three demos will be available for folks to check out: Inugamike no Ichizoku, NINJA BLADE and Tenchu 4. Tenchu 4 Wii Screens

A team of black-clad Ubisoft PRs has thrown a flashbomb into the room, silently deposited a clutch of Wii Tenchu 4 screens and then slipped away while we groped around for our weapons.

It's unconventional marketing, but it gets the job done.

The game itself will make an entrance in Europe and North America early next year and is said to make full use of the Wii's controllers for slashy, stabby fun.

Good news, cat ninja lovers: Tenchu 4 is getting a Western release. Previously confirmed only for a Japanese release, developers Acquire have signed a deal with Ubisoft that'll see the game distributed throughout North America and Europe. No word on a release date, but the game will be playable at TGS, so we'll check it out then, see if the cat handling's up to scratch.

From Software and Acquire are bringing Tenchu-style ninja action to the Wii with Tenchu 4, the eleventh game in the series. This promotional clip, via Insert Credit, shows that Acquire is on the right track, finally letting us take control of kitties for some of the game's stealthier sections. It would appear that ninja-trained cats needs a bit of coercion to enter stealth mode, but when they do, expect serious pussy action.

I have to say, I'm surprised at how good the game looks so far. Of course the trailer was really dark, so maybe things will look different under the glare of an in-game sun. Actually, I bet it's a night only game anyway, so win-win.

The most recent issue of Japanese game mag Famitsu announces that ninja stealth action title Tenchu 4 is headed for the Wii. The game will be developed by Acquire who worked on the early Tenchu titles and Armored Core dev From Software who published Xbox 360 exclusive Tenchu Z.
