<![CDATA[Behold The New Diablo III Logo T-Shirt]]> I just got out of a brief interview with Diablo III lead designer Jay Wilson, where we discussed a few things about the role of gender in video games and the new rune system in Diablo III, but the whole time I was in there I couldn't take my eyes off of his t-shirt. I've seen it around the convention, but this was my first chance to see it up close. Behold, the new logo for Diablo III. I really dig the ponies.

The shirt is of course a direct response to the fans who cried out that Diablo III was too bright and colorful for a Diablo game. I'm a little sad that this isn't the real logo myself.

Jay said that if there was a huge outpouring of demand thaqt these shirts might one day be offered to people for sale, so you might wanna start outpouring now. I need one of these. I briefly considered taking Jay's, but he seems like a rather tough fellow and I'd rather not take any chances. Outpour!

<![CDATA[Mega Man 9's Retro Art Stylings]]> Everyone who visited Capcom's booth at E3 last week were treated to a peek at a glorious retro Mega Man t-shirt. The shirt reflects the decision Capcom made to turn Mega Man 9 into an "impossible hard" 8-bit revival of the franchise.

The marketing group decided that since the game was going to look like it came from 1987 they whole marketing campaign should too. So they called up I Am 8-bit artist Gerald de Jesus and had him whip up a truly fantastic bit of fantasy Mega Man art for the fabled shirt.

Only four of the shirts were created for Inafune and Takeshita to wear during last week's show. The good news? Capcom promises to start selling the shirts on their site soon.

<![CDATA[Kick-Ass 1942 Shirt Sneaks in Cammy Appearance]]> If you're into all things Mike McWhertor, and who isn't, than you probably already know all about his video-game themed T-shirt venture: Meat Bun.

Today the shirtmaker dropped a sexy, new 1942-themed shirt on their site featuring Cammy from Street Fighter dressed up like a 1940's pin-up girl. The shirt comes in olive, gold and light blue and is currently tied for my personal favorite with Meat Bun's Street Fighter shirt.

If you're at Comic Con you should try to pick one up and then chase Mike down and force him to sign it or a body part in Sharpie blue.

<![CDATA[Fake Miyamoto Autograph? Ha! Green Miyamoto Face.]]> Here it is, feast your eyes, some human wearing a limited edition Wii Fit shirt with a fake Shigeru Miyamoto autograph on it. There are only one thousand of these, and they were only available for those who pre-ordered at the Nintendo World store in New York City. Nintendo really dropped the ball on promoting this shirt, though. Instead of playing up the fake Miyamoto autograph, it should've totally pumped up the fact that this shirt has a GREEN MIYAMOTO FACE on it. Hit the jump for that!

<![CDATA[WWE Produces Familiar Looking T-Shirt]]> Kotakuite Brian P. tells us that the WWE is producing a new T-shirt for one of it's big stars, John Cena. The shirt features an 8-bit style graphic based on the cover of Nintendo's classic Pro Wrestling. The back has some different "moves" above some d-pad graphics. The shirt is selling for $25 dollars but won't be officially released until Feb. 25. One wonders what Nintendo is going to have to say about this one.

<![CDATA[The Steampunk Space Invaders Tee]]> Being the t-shirt freak that I am, I always promise myself that I will stop buying them so that I don't fill yet a second chest of drawers. But, inevitably one comes along that you can't resist and this would fall into that category for me. Artist etherbrian has posted his steampunk space invader design "Interloper From Beyond The Heavens" up for votes on Threadless and it's still got about six more days left to rack up enough points to get it printed. Amazingly awesome.

<![CDATA[Portal T-Shirt: The Cake is a Lie]]> Even though I have written about it a lot, I'm still amazed at the amount of in-jokes, memes and products Portal has spawned. Add one more to the list as J!nx comes out with its own Portal "The cake is a lie" t-shirt. It even comes with their own special patented sassy explanatory paragraph:

Spoiler Alert: In general, anyone that promises free moist, delicious cake as a reward should not be trusted. Cake is never free, people. Who in their right mind would ever give cake away instead of hording it for themself? No sane person; that is the answer to that question. If you are thoroughly confused by this shirt, as many of you will surely be, Google is your friend.

The shirt comes in black in sizes SM-4XL. Prices range from $14.95 for the wee sizes to $17.95 for the big boys.

<![CDATA[Tanooki Suit Mario Tee on Threadless]]> It always disappoints me when I see a really great t-shirt on Threadless and then come to the realization that it probably won't get made due to copyright issues. Such is the case with this awesome Tanooki Suit Mario t-shirt that arrived on Threadless a few days ago and is currently up for voting. Extra points for Mario eating out of a garbage can with his fellow tanuki brothers. Super extra points for not including the frighteningly oversized testicles that tanuki's are traditionally drawn with.

<![CDATA[Mario Tee is Why I'm Hot]]> For those looking to buy a retro tee that will (hopefully) make little to no sense in a few more weeks, we highly advise you purchase this shirt from Snorg Tees. Labeled "this is why I'm hot" over a fireflower...well, you get it.

But we would have preferred if the artist had referenced Nelly's 'Hot in Here,' because apparently that melody will be resurrected every summer from now to eternity, keeping you in constant, trend-setting fashion whenever it gets hot outside. Available now for about $17.

PS. We love you Nelly, promise.

<![CDATA[Mario the Pusherman]]> 127816.gif

I like the idea behind this t-shirt much more than the actual finished product. Maybe it's just the fact that it's printed on that bright blue shirt. I think it would look much better with a smaller design and on white. But yes, I can totally see Mario as a pusher.

<![CDATA[Threadless Original Gamester Shirt]]>
Threadless and their endless supply of graphic tees... Once in a while you can find some real gems. Sure, this one is not as inspired as the fabulous Bioshock that turned up last month, but how can you hate it when the colors are so rainbowlicious? As far as printed black tees go, I'd put it in the closet rotation.

<![CDATA[Microsoft, Kotaku Fanboys]]>

It's a Kotaku sandwich! That's Microsoft's Gamerscore PR people on tour in Chicago for a Community road trip. And yes, they are wearing Kotaku shirts. Two things: First, even I don't have one of those shirts. Second, we didn't give them those shirts — They bought them. Or better yet, expensed them. Dunno. And those jeans? Two-for-one deal.

Actually! I was wondering yesterday what kind of people were buying the Kotaku shirts. This kind of people, apparently. Me, I like the giant "K" shirt, but I'm still holding out for a slogan shirt.

<![CDATA[Win a Spiffy Halo 3 Beta Shirt]]>

Microsoft was giving these cool T-shirts out at their Halo 3 premiere event in San Francisco.

I happened to be sitting at the table where they were piling them up and when I looked over the PR woman said help yourself, so I did...to three. One for me, two for you. The two spares are sized Medium. I'll leave it to Ashcraft how we will be giving these away, but feel free to post your suggestions below.

Ps. Look, I finally got a new camera.

<![CDATA[Girls Like Video Game T-Shirts Too]]>

Ah, Hot Topic, no one can turn something uncool as quickly as you. Alright, well maybe that's being a bit too harsh. There are a few cool things that come through there every once in a while, but this t-shirt is sadly not one of them. I do give them props for actually making something with Peach on it though. Not something you see very often outside the Nintendo World Store, and even there they only have one.

Now you can gift your favorite girly girl gamer with this rather questionable shirt. At least you can say it's for your girlfriend, but we all now you'll be wearing it yourself in the privacy of your bedroom while posing in the mirror. Don't worry, we won't tell.
