    Color me jaded, but the gameplay in that video looks really basic and not really all that synaesthetic at all. The only mechanic I'm seeing that relates to your music is that the peaks on the equalizer make enemies pop out. That's it. You don't shoot them in time to the music, like Rez. They don't appear to the beat or the melody in particular like Audiosurf, they just pop out whenever one of the frequency levels hits a peak.

    I'll give this the benefit of the doubt for now, since obviously this was just a teaser, but what they showed here just doesn't look all that unique or fun. :( #symphony

    To me it also looks extremely cramped for a shooter. I also didn't play Audiosurf much beyond testing it out...

    Space Invaders: Infinity Gene is a pretty fun shooter than can autogenerate levels from songs, but it doesn't time the events to music either. #symphony

    Ridiculous, not even on the official site I could find this basic info : for what platform it is ??
    I guess it's PC, if they don't tell... But it would certainly fit on iPhone or PSP, or as an XBLA / PSN game. #symphony

    @masterage: Same, I <3 Audiosurf. Actually, the thing I like the most about AS is the puzzle gameplay. I always stick to Mono because I'd rather play it twitch-style. Lots of fun, but I'd always wished for a shooter version of the same music mechanic... I guess I'm not the only one! Very much looking forward to this, day one purchase. #symphony
