Also, when you are getting a decent sized tatt, make sure it's done by the best artist you can afford. I've seen too many ugly tattoos over the year. Remember kids, they stay with you FOREVER unless you can spend thousands to get them removed.

Time, money, touchups, many many many sessions for something like that. We're talking months -minimum- assuming the person has a day job to schedule around.

Clearly, my comments about the art have nothing got to do with the amount of time it takes or the touchups that may happen or anything else other than the actual art. The bits that look like they are finalized look pretty shitty and look irrepairable, clearly.

That mario art right there probably cost $1000+ so far and about 24+ hours of time and pain.
I have my entire back done up.... which has taken me since I was 18 and I am now almost 29 and I still have about 30 hours and $1000+ to go.
You cant get something like that finished in 1,2 or even 3 trips... so yes, it is unfinished and to you it may look crappy but to those of us that are covered in art it looks as though it has endless possibilities.
And noone was berating you by asking you a simple question that you took offensively. Just like this isnt a stab at you either, its just a description of what you asked.
But, if and when you do go get a tattoo, Try telling the artist to hurry up and see how it comes out :)

For instance, take a look at Peaches arm and hand, it's not right and it doesn't look like it could be fixed, also her eyes look off and her crown looks terrible. Also, look at Marios hands, again, that looks like bad drawing to me.
I'm not saying it all looks bad, the goomba and Shy Guy on the left shoulder look perfect and Wario looks great too but there is faults that look irrepairable to me and that's the only point I ever made.
@Deanbmmv: I knew it wasn't just me. She looks like she wants to rape me, it's creepy.

@-MasterDex-: I definitely don't want it on my back, and I'm not saying your opinions aren't valid. I just don't think the guy with the massive piece on his back would go back to the same artist and spend thousands of dollars if the artist was "crappy". It's most definitely unfinished, and in it's own art style, different from the general Nintendo style.
And as long as the dude who has it on his back likes it, then our opinions on the artwork don't mean much.

@jack m: I also agree. There's been an influx of memes, images, macros, and other 4chan-ish comments of late. I dunno what's causing it exactly, but it'd be best to nip it in the bud (no pun intended) to kill the noise before it makes the site unreadable.

Every one of us has one or two, and althougth this one has a clearly more erotic appeal and i am sure i don't want to see the nipples of most of you, it is still just a smally little nipple. :-P
