Banpresto's newest Super Robot Taisen game puts less emphasis on the the "robot taisen" and more, way more, on the "super" well... Above is the box suggestive box art for the Nintendo DS RPG Mugen no Frontier Super Robot Taisen OG Saga and an image from the in store demo. The game features lots of "boob shaking" scenes apparently and went on sale late the week. Want to see how the launch went? Hit the jump.

You've seen the costume, now here's the ad. That's nerd princess Shoko Nakagawa in a TV spot for PlayStation 2 game Super Robot Taisen OG. Not a big fan of this behind-the-scenes ad. It does make its point (yes, she's a nerd, we know), but seems, I dunno, cheap?

Good rule of thumb: Japanese game promotion events are dull. They usually involve people sitting on stools and poster boards. But Super Robot Taisen OG producer Takanobu Terada is different. He knows that a good game promotion involves one thing: RUNNING. And not just running, but spiriting through Akihabara! This morning, two hundred bystanders cheered him on as he filmed an internet commercial for Super Robot Taisen OG, which involved an Akiba dash. Super Shoko-tan Idol Wars!

The last time we saw cat-head sucking Shoko Nakagawa promoting a Super Robot Taisen game, she was all glammed up as Shoko-tan Version 2.0. For the upcoming Super Robot Taisen Taisen Original Generations, she's returned to her nerd cosplay robots by donning the mecha armor of in-game character Valsione. Shoko-tan, a cosplay nerd herself, says this was the most spectacular cosplay of her life, and she even went as fair as trimming her hair and her fingernails for this costume. Now, that's dedication.
