Brian is full of shit. He made the game because he wanted to raise his profile and gain media attention. Ironically, this is exactly what Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold wanted as well. Isn't it very convenient that a player can easily get stuck at the point in the game where they are supposed to be killing kids. this is not an accident! This is nothing but the selfishness of eric and dylan resurrecting itself on to another person. THAT is the true danger.

I still don't get the point of this game. I can't but think that all his answers were just bs that he came up with try to justify making an insensitive game.

*whistles* Well, that takes balls. Exposing oneself to the media storm. While one would expect the journalist to be thoughtful in his comments I'm pleased at how well-spoken the game-maker is too, here. (I'm watching this stuff for the first time.) I've seen quite a few interviews where the poor guy, while he obviously knows how the game ticks and (depending on who he is) why it was made, cannot articulate it in a way that makes sense, either to laymen gamers (as opposed to developers) or the prying, non-gaming public drawn by media frenzy into looking at this medium they normally dismiss as negligible. That this was a game constructed with a specific, socially resonant purpose in mind makes it all the more imperative that someone can explain it, and...regardless of the game's success rate in its pursuit of its goal...he seems more than capable of explaining it.
