Don't worry, though, you're not alone. At 29 I've been gaming for longer than most gamers have been alive. And as someone who played StarFox to death when it first hit the SNES, the Smash Bros. comment angered and depressed me, too.
@excel_excel: It's funny that Star Fox 64 had spoken dialogue that became instantly iconic over ten years ago, and Zelda + Metroid + Mario still have little to none.
@excel_excel: Don't know why, but I do know it was the same for the DS version (I was in Japan at the time, so I had to wait while the rest of the world got to play it).
But while Smash-Up brings a bit of nostalgia and doesn't build any walls between generations of Ninja Turtles fans
Does it, though? I mean, reading the comments here, I get the impression that it's less nostalgic for those of us that were kids in the 80s, and it seems to be building walls between fans of the 80s series and fans of the 00s series.
@shimage:
I grew up in the 80's, and I totally got over the original TMNT animated series. However, I own the first five seasons of the new series on DVD, as well as the CGI movie.
You unlock all but four character by playing story mode... just pick them at the end. Was the reviewer only picking the treasure chest rewards? Pick one of the busts over them and the reward screen.

I also want chocolate raindrops to fall into the mouth of the dragon in my backyard.

Man. Am I really getting so old that it's unrealistic to think that people might recognize him like this from, I dunno, the actual game?

Yes.

Just because I(Can I bold that? or italisize?) may recognize this form from SSBB doesn't mean I DON'T know that he's from Starfox on the NES.

Anyway, that's mighty nice of Mr. Freedman. Our school did something like this, but we donated the proceeds to our soup kitchen.

Yup, that's melee. That's why in the last large national tournament the top 3 places were Jigglypuff, Peach, Jigglypuff. #charity

I was talking about Melee, not brawl. Brawl has Metaknight, melee does not.
And no, items are turned off in tournaments. #charity
