    are people kind of, chipping away at the inside flesh as opposed to cutting into the pumpkins to get these fantastic effects? i'm carving tonight, thinking of somthing simple, the half life one seems dooable yet still cool. #halloween

    The Borderlands one just goes to show you how video games can bring out ones creativity. If the media would just focus on that more and not the fact the guy who just shot a friend just happened to own a xbox 360 people wouldn't hate games as much. VERY well done! #halloween

    the borderlands one is possibly the best one that have been showed here on kotaku. really awesome.

    It took me a total of 11 hours spread across 2 days to create that borderlands pumpkin. I used pencil to freehand draw the image on the pumpkin skin, which didn't work too well. If you want to see more pictures of it being created and rotting (just in case you thought it wasn't real), please check out my picasa web album.

    WOW, the Borderlands one is amazing.

    Anyone could easily do a Lambda pumpkin but no one would get the reference. Hell if a trick-or-treater can name the game i'll give them a king-sized Reese's Peanut Butter cup.

    Exactly what happened to me. I basicly halted buying stuff from wiiware because i was tired to having to choose between games i wanted to keep installed and new games and the incredibly LONG process of backup-reinstall them.


    The moment the firmware update hit and it was hacked (almost 12 hours later) i started buying things again. It's not a perfect solution in anyway, but it's pretty damn useful.

    @godlyzombie: I think he meant that it was confusing if you were unfamiliar with Strong Bad, because then it seems like it's saying "strong sales double" or "bad sales double" or both, and it seems crazy at first glance.

    I've completed all 3 episodes released till now, and my respect for the series has grown all through them... They strongly remind me the Monkey Island series in terms of wit, but unlike Guybrush ur character is not on the receiving end, but is dishing it out.
