    interestingly enough, did you know that a lot of knockoff toys actually come from the same factories the originals were produced in?? I was told by a rather major toy designer that sometimes companies produce, say 20,000 pieces then send another 10,000 not so well produced ones out the back door.. #streetfighter

    Maybe because it's the fake pirate version?
    I dunno about gaming toys, but it's already happening for anime figures.

    Figures that really looks good and perfectly resembles anime characters are something relatively new (few years ago we only had garage kits, which were kits people had to assemble and paint themselves, and the material wasn't very good).

    Now, with new technology, materials and techniques, figures are being sold more than ever.

    As one would imagine, this opened a new chinese pirating market.

    And it's becoming harder and harder to tell the pirate version from the original, fake ones reproducing even details from the original box though the figure itself, still looking very similar, has a far worse material quality and paint job.

    Just google for "fake figures" or "fake nendoroids" if you wanna know more about it. #streetfighter

    A local here in Columbus did the same thing a few months ago. It's a six button stick with the start and home buttons hidden under the cartage gate. He showed it off at the last Seasons Beatings. #oddities

    Love it, but do you have to blow in it to use ultras and specials? Does it use Game Genie? These things are important to consider in an arcade stick. #oddities
