    Exactly what happened to me. I basicly halted buying stuff from wiiware because i was tired to having to choose between games i wanted to keep installed and new games and the incredibly LONG process of backup-reinstall them.


    The moment the firmware update hit and it was hacked (almost 12 hours later) i started buying things again. It's not a perfect solution in anyway, but it's pretty damn useful.

    @godlyzombie: I think he meant that it was confusing if you were unfamiliar with Strong Bad, because then it seems like it's saying "strong sales double" or "bad sales double" or both, and it seems crazy at first glance.

    @Myxomatosis: you say so? sd cards are small, cheap, and there's already 32GB sdhc cards available now. and they are about to release (if they already did) the 64GB version.


    i say it's a WAY BETTER solution than hard drives.

    @Ferna182: Yep, especially since the Wii only outputs 480, so it's not as though it'd require tons of space for HD movies and game graphics. A 32 GB SD card can be had for roughly $80, and though you'll have people complaining that a standard HDD can hold a full TB at that price, it's still not a bad choice I think.

    @Kobun: but a 360 hdd can be used ONLY on your 360 .... while a 32GB SD Card (which you know it will drop it's price to about half from here up to a couple of months) can be used on ANY sdhc compilant device... like cameras, mp3 players, or even be used like a pendrive, etc.

    @Ferna182: I was referring to the PS3 since uses standard drives (360's HDDs max out at 120 GB). Yeah, assuming the SD card is standard and doesn't use some proprietary file system, that'd be nice to be able to pop any SD card in when you need some space.

    I just bought an ottoman with a hollow center that fits my RB drumkit perfectly. I may have to buy this one also when I move, because it looks like a perfect storage solution to me, especially considering you don't have to keep taking apart the drum kit.

    The reviews mention that the drum mechanism is a bit short for taller people (I'm a hair shy of 6'). Other than that, this looks awesome.

    i dunno, i think mines all heading towards the trash bin.

    the games style has been so done to death i can't even look at the discs let alone the gear anymore.

    memory is so cheap these days and a piddly 256 aint shit. even for 360. any person with 10 games will fill up that lousy amount of memory.


    for 10 bux u can get like 5 or 6 gigs of memory smaller than a postage stamp!

    @DoomLight: I doubt people who end up buying ten games would buy an arcade to begin with. If they did, its not like upgrading is impossible. They could always buy the HD later on for the same price as they would have to begin with. Its all about choice!
