Actually she was more than just mentioned in the movies, she was in a deleted-scene in Ep. 3, where she gets caught by Darth Tyrannus and uses her as bait for Anakin and Obi-Wan.
Then she gets killed after apologizing for getting caught.
Supposedly the scene was cut from the theater version of the movie so as to not really cause any confusion and add a seemingly pointless character.
@Edicus: No, that was Shaak Ti, who's like sixty years old at that point. Different Togruta.
How did you know about the scene but not know who it was? Nerdiness is supposed to be consistent.

"I mean come on, an apprentice? He's not even a Jedi Master"
--NERD ALERT--
OMFG how do you think people BECOME Jedi Masters? Obi-Wan is a Jedi Knight in Episode II while he is Training Anakin. You have to successfully train a Padawan to be a Master.
@Gregory Morehead: Regardless, I wouldn't even trust Anakin with a pet, let alone a fledgling jedi.
Seems like the council was willing to essentially sacrifice Ahsoka on the gamble that she'd chill Anakin out. With wisdom like that, I'm surprised they didn't add Anakin to their ranks sooner.
@Gregory Morehead: There are always two. The master and the apprentice. Uh, unless we want to do Star Wars: Hannah Montana in which case there's the master, the apprentice and the apprentice's apprentice. After all, Anakin was still Obi-Wan's padawan between 2 and 3.
@TheBrainNinja: "Seems like the council was willing to essentially sacrifice Ahsoka on the gamble that she'd chill Anakin out."
I don't think they were gambling on anything. If the council found her anything like as annoying as I do, they were probably desperate to get rid of her :)
but Anakin still annoys the piss out of me even with a different voice. I hate how him/his padawan f-ing sit and talk in the middle of battles deflecting blaster fire to get in each shows bonding moment..meanwhile clone troopers are dieing.
@Laronvas: Remember, Anakin is one seriously troubled young man ("they're like animals... and I slaughtered them like animals.") He probably cares very little for the clones under his command. I fear dark times lie in his future ;)
"Star Wars: The Clone Wars" became, out of nowhere, my favourite TV series of last year. I wasnt sure what I was getting into, because I had miss the Clone Wars movie during the summer, but I was completely hooked on it and can't wait for Season 2. As for the game, It's a sure thing on my purchase list. Now, if only someone would give me more "Rogue Leader" and/or "Battlefront" on my Wii...
I've been a huge fan of the series and I'm glad to see people giving it a shot because it doesn't let you down. The Clone Wars movie definitely turned me off from the cartoon network series and dismissed the series to be just as bad as the movie. Well, to my surprise the series was 10 times better than the movie (especially the first episode with yoda in action!). The series is much deeper than the movie's bland plot. I really hated Ahsoka Tano at first, and it wasn't because I wouldn't give her a chance for the character to prove its worth - at first the character was treated by the makers of Clone Wars as a Hannah Montana is space. That aspect really annoyed me! But they did turn around on the character and gave her more of a "maturing before your eyes" type of character (not in the physical sense weirdos). But just like all Star Wars games, they are true to form and format it around a "family fun experience". I just wish a seriously dark Star Wars game would come about... wait... I did level a sith in KotOR!
Anyways, just posting here mainly because I read how you first cringed at the Cartoon Network series and when you gave it a chance you liked it. I look forward to more Clone War episodes! and IF they ever consider making another Clone Wars movie... it better not... must not... have Ziro the Hutt in it! That foul up was almost unforgivable!
@I Think We're Property: I enjoyed the episodes with Jar Jar in them. He openly attempted to do the right (or brave) thing in the hostile situations he was in, unlike the first movie and on top of that, most of the cast didn't like him either. Anakin risked breaking out of prison because Jar Jar was coming to negotiate his release.
"they were demoing the Wii version of the game, which doesn't have a demo out like the Xbox 360 version" Wow, blantant xbox fanboyism there, it also came out on the PSN like some have said! Reminds me of the videogame magazines that have a multiplatform game that says "FOR: Xbox 360 (also on PS3)".
as for the article, yup, the cartoon rocks, but they replay the same episodes over and over ugh. Also the demo sucks, though i would buy but wont now, bring on FU2 or BF3!
@BeerManMike: How is that fanboyism? It's a hassle and a nuisance to type two systems in there. Who cares what consoles the demo is available on? That is completely beyond the point of this article. I don't think AJ was sitting there thinking "Hm, I'm going to neglect to mention the demo is on the PS3, just to make PS3 fans angry." She probably just didn't think someone would actually get upset about something that insignificant.
@BeerManMike: I'm sure I shouldn't promote people for being idiots just so I can bash them, but here we are, it's just so hard to resist.
Okay. Moron. No. It's not blatant fanboyism to mention a game as being for one console without mentioning another by name. Maybe he played it on 360, so that's the one that comes to mind. Maybe he didn't know it came out on PSN, and since it's not a major point of the article, it would hardly matter. And maybe he just doesn't care, like I don't care, like a thousand people don't care.
People like you are the reason we have atrocities like Game Informer- magazines scared to voice their opinion and satisfied to be mouthpieces for corporate exploitation.

@Doomstink: Don't feed the trolls. "she" should report all the facts and details, if not then why take up blogging/writing? She could of very well wrote "cartoon series is awesome, the game sucks, fin." and be done, im mean all those words above are a nuisance to write, right?
@Dangeresque: First of all thank you for gracing my fine post with your star power, it is an honor to think a poster of your caliber would chose my remarkable post for a darkening of text! After observing many bogus reasons why "he" did not include the PS3 mention brushed aside by saying they hardly mattered anyway and ending your star worthy post with a tired old movie line that "SOOO 5 years ago" all i can say is LOL.
@BeerManMike: "I'm a twenty-year man. I can tell the difference between punks who need a little lesson in manners, and the freaks like you who just enjoy it." Is that more recent for you, Mr. Troll? Besides, old is kewl.

For example, if they have dead clones lying around in the game, it might bump the Teen rating up to an M and cut out more than half of the cartoon's audience. "I think it's because it's interactive," Kudirka said.
I (as a grown man, saw the first Star Wars movie in the theaters) really like the Animated Series. I think they pack alot of action into those episodes and I like the quirky art-style. Watching the episodes always reminds me of a video-game anyways as far as the action sequences go at least.
I usually enjoy Star Wars themed games as well, not all of them but a few are among my all time favorites. I'll definitely have interest in this game as I'm getting a Wii in a couple of months. With Star Wars games sometimes you get a real gem, such as Outcast, and sometimes a real dud such as Force Unleashed (which I never played due to the overwhelmingly crap reviews, alot of the things they panned are personal pet peeves of mine in games, so I stayed away). Hopefully this one provides some fun. Looking forward to hearing more on it.
