    I'd like to see a Video Game Robot Chicken Special, much like the Star Wars Robot Chicken Specials.


    Perhaps call it something along the lines of Super Robot Chicken II Turbo.

    @Curse_Lily: They don't last too long, but you can make a reference to old video games and people are like "oh hey, yeah I've played that" no matter how old they are.


    But eventually, majority of people will never have played Pacman or the original Donkey Kong. And that day will be a sad day.

    That episode of South Park was so dead on. IRL people are always shocked when I let it slip how much I dislike that friggin' show.

    I haven't played spore yet, but the only part of teh game that interests me is the evolution stages, from single celled organisms to wild creatures fighting for survival and evolving. I have no interest in getting to the tribal stages and beyond.

    @stealthpengu: Okay, do you really want to go into one of those piracy debates? If anything, it's more like borrowing a game from some one, the company doesn't get or lose any money because of that. So don't compare it to actual theft. I deleted the original game a long time a go because of how much it blew.

    Pirating has a zero sum effect on the industry anyway. This debate is stupid too.

    @jacobgermain: Actually, that's not quite accurate. There is lots of good data to support that piracy actually helps an industry. Acquiring a digital copy of something in no way detracts from the number of people who would have bought it and introduces some people to a property they would not have visited otherwise. Of course, there will always be fools ranting and raving about how it's just plain theft, but they are completely misinformed. They are no better than the people arguing for drug prohibition.

    It is theft. When someone creates something, that something becomes the product of their labour, be it digital, conceptual or physical. When you use the product in ways the creator did not intend, ie. IP theft, copyright infringement, or in our case here, taking it without paying them for it, under the law, it is considered theft. The only issue here is not whether it is or it isn't but enforcement.

    @Staggy: Both the narrator voice and echo effects and the music's 30's radio sounds are what gave it the extra level of cheese. and i think the giant fights are what relate it to R&C.
