    @LightningKiller: It seems like they have a lot of surprises but I'm not sure how much they can pack in an hour. One thing's for sure, if their unannounced news are at the level of last years E3 then Sony has already won. They need to make a few megaton announcements in addition to many good ones. At least two "FFXIII coming to 360" to have a handed victory.

    I would like Mr.Tretton to give us a release date for FF13 it seems the Final Fantasy projected release dates are always at least a year off.

    @GiovannaMojojojo: FF13 is a Square Enix game. It's not even PS3 exclusive, Sony has no say in its release date whatsoever.

    @GiovannaMojojojo: ...also, wrong region. ATT is in charge of the states if I recall and Square already promised that FFXIII will be launched on all consoles at the same time outside of Japan so it doesn't benefit them to announce that at E3.

    I'd say Clank being 'captured' and in the possession of Dr. Nefarious, who somehow got off his asteroid, is a fair bit of information.


    Especially after the bewildering conclusion to Tools of Destruction.

    @goaliegeek: This year's E3 will be great for everyone. Just think. The TvC leak, the Trico leak, the PSP-Go leak, and most of the big news recently were all supposed to be at E3 this year.

    @goaliegeek: Well they are certainly leading Pre-E3. The stuff that's already been announced (Demon's Souls for US, Ghostbusters' timed exclusivity for Europe, inFamous' almost AAA status, From Software's lineup for PSP, MGS and RE for PS Store), the rumors (PSP Go! Trico, PS3 price cut, etc), the hype for Uncharted 2, God of War 3, the new Ratchet, MAG and Fat Princess, the PSP's lineup... If Sony just confirms all these things and don't announce anything new they will be seriously hard to beat this year. If they announce new stuff we didn't even know about, Jesus Christ.


    I'd say it's impossible for them to fuck up, but Sony has done stranger things before...

    @Stephen Totilo: I agree with virtually all from all 3 articles, but giving him a pass on Home being totally worth the wait? Really? As someone who was very intrigued by Home's potential, I am underwhelmed. And you mentioned Ghostbusters as an '08 release and didn't call him on it the way you did the Agency.


    I liked that you weighted degree of difficulty in predictions. I await your E3 judgements eagerly.

    @Kai200X: Especially given their up-hill battle with profitability, they're still pumping money into R&D. I don't always agree with Sony corporate but they have never been shy to innovate... they're just not always very open.

    Eliza Gauger was the best thing to happen to Kotaku.

    Then she left, which was the worst thing. But Stephen is definitely in the "good things that have happened to Kotaku" category. I've loved all 3 of his E3 promises (although a few of the "it could happen" sections of the PS3 edition would have probably been labeled as false in the Nintendo edition).

    @Surfninja: Totilo had me from the moment he started taking apart numbers and looking at their meaty insides. That's the sort of shit I appreciate and will mainline at any opportunity. I feel like everyone else (cept maybe McWha???) shies away from it. But that's what I want, and I will follow those articles like a hot, drunk, giggly sorority girl fumbling for house keys.
