    Spelunker! I'm guessing Michael Quest's gags at his expense is creating a sort of comeback for something that never quite was there to begin with. :^) That shirt's too busy for my tastes (and I don't wear hoodies), but I'm glad it exists.

    Do either of those sites sell gaming shirts in female sizes? Only flat-chested girls without hips can wear a men's t-shirt and not look silly.

    As it is, I have to get my gaming shirts from Jinx (I know, I know).

    @PuffyTail: I need a gift idea for tshirts for my sister. She won't wear men's tshirts as she prefers those baby doll tshirts. She's into D&D. Got any recommendations? (I didn't see anything I think she'd like on jinx.)

    @NotTheOtherBob: Aside from Jinx (and a few on Thinkgeek), I don't know of other game/geek shirt sites with female-friendly sizes. I' would love some suggestions in that department myself :)

    Perhaps CafePress or Zazzle might have something? They're a bit pricey, but you can find cute designs there sometimes (or upload your own) and they have a good variety of style and size options.

    So when will we start accepting that gamers come from all facets of society and aren't just sweaty little kids?

    It feels like we aren't getting by that when we go "Woah, a girl who plays videogames and is good at it"

    @ShadowOdin, representing the people of Malmö, Sweden: Exactly. Why do people react like that? I think its fair to say its uncommon but not unheard of.


    I specifically remember one time i went to Trocadero with my friend and this girl was playing Tekken 3 with Eddy and was REALLY good which was a surprise because most people that play him spam LK+RK all day.

    About 5 guys were near her talking amongst themselves about how they were gonna chat her up(she was very attractive too). They all played her and judging by the way they was playing i dont think any of those guys had played Tekken before but the simple fact that this girl was nice and was playing a game was enough for them waste their money.

    I did play her and win :) My Jin was too awsome back then but she was really good and humble...she said those guys tried for about 20mins to beat her, she just wanted to finish the game.

    @iRloading: I feel bad for my kid if he could only date a girl who liked video games, yup. He and his wife don't play much, but his friend used to be a huge Pong addict, and I just don't trust gamers like that.

    @Sutekh_Slain: Wow that's so even, IMO Akuma is definatly leading that game, he loses by an inch even tho he most definatly hit Zangief many more times. The power of mega characters is here.


    I love playing games which are as even as the one presented in that video. I hate losing them tho, because then I just want to play the same player more and more, however, they usually just want to continue on and fight other players. :)


    Oh and yeah, girls are still rare, unique & legendary as video game players.

    @Ladi: Good luck getting that to work on a human opponent. The AI is unbelievable dumb when it comes to countering/waking up on a lariat.
