Super Smashing Proposal
When it came time to pop the question, reader Brian Klima did it right. No scoreboard message at a baseball game, no skywriting, no jewelry buried in the dessert. Wario's New (Old) Clothes
While all of the other members of the Smash Bros. Brawl cast can change the color of their costumes or change accessories, Wario gets his very own change of clothes, presumably once he blows a hole in his other pants. Along with the Blue Oyster Wario we've seen since the very first trailers ran, classic Wario will make an appearance, wearing his traditional suspenders and cap combo in a variety of different colors and (gag) flavors. The promised daily weekday updates continue at the Smash Bros. Dojo! Join us later this week to see if Masahiro Sakurai finally breaks down and just posts a picture of his name scribbled over and over again on a diner napkin. More » -

Brawl Gets Mega Meta With Pictochat
Normally, we're not in the business of providing our thoughts on daily Super Smash Bros. Brawl news, for our opinions on, say, Ashley's Theme from WarioWare aren't that strong. It even features Wii Channel tunes to really up the self-referentiality. More » -

Smash Bros. Brawl - Fire Emblem Represent!
A new challenger has appeared! Hailing from the world of Tellius, Ike from the GameCube title Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance joins the ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny. Wielding a massive two-handed sword in one hand and bringing his Aether attack from the GCN title with him, Ike is certainly bad ass enough to replace Roy and Marth, whose popularity in Super Smash Bros. Melee caused Nintendo to start publishing the Fire Emblem titles stateside in the first place. More » -

Smash Bros. Dojo Update - Gooey Bomb
Looks like we'll have to be keeping an eye on the Smash Bros. In the past few days they've posted pictures of character profiles on Link and Mario, and now they've started highlighting new items, beginning with the Gooey Bomb. It's basically a sticky grenade with a twist, in that once you have one stuck on you there's a chance you can touch another character and pass it on. This is exactly why Master Chief needs to show up in Brawl. Never happen of course, but doesn't it just scream MC? More » -

Wii Having BC Issues?
Backwards compatibility is a tricky thing. Seems so simple: Make the new machine so it can play old games. But, alas, difficult. According to one reader, the Nintendo Wii joins the ranks of the Xbox 360 and the PS3 as yet another console that can't quite get its BC on. More »
