Persona 4 does a pretty good job, but that's to be expected considering the game is part dating sim. Grow closer to someone, choose to pursue a romantic relationship or not, continue to spend time with them and go out on weekends even when you've maxed your social link.

@Ladi: The weekends part well it's funny :). If you've got more than 1 relationshiop going which is easy (since breakups don't seem to happen once maxed out), you're bound to find the previous g/f gatecrashing your current date. you'll end up going out with her as your current date usually just leaves (probably because there's still a few at that point to level up).
The weekend romance bit in that game is amusing really.

@WhatTheFrag: Yeah, I remember Rise crashing my date with the Sun social link (or vice versa, I forget). Fortunately Daisuke and Kou were able to diffuse the situation :P

I never was able to get Barrett on the date, I always get Tifa or Aeris whenever I try.

I love how it plays different music (Barrett's theme) instead of the romantic, slower music when you're on the date with Aeris or Tifa.

@SocraticMethod: I could never bring myself to be mean to Aerith until the very last/latest time that I played the game (got Yuffie), but now I've played the game so many times (10 completed runs, probably 15+ plays) that I never want to play the PS1 iteration again.

And now, WHEN they remake it, I won't be able to do the Tifa or Barrett one either, as I will need to see the touching Aerith one in HD.

Fuck you FF VII, for helping raise me as a wee lad and making me so attached to you.

That "Alice and Kev" thing you linked was extraordinary. I've never played a Sims game in my life and I found that story riveting. They should adapt that into that ill-conceived Sims movie they're talking about making.

Wow, really wow, I can't BELIEVE the amount of hate for Susan Boyle on this website. Really? Really!? Are you so unhappy over that someone suddenly got a massive amount of attention?

She sings beautifully, but what is really shocking is that no-one expected her to. When she entered the scene and started talking, no-one believed in her and thought she was crazy. Then she sang, moved hearts and got a standing ovation from the crowd and praise from the judges.

She is 47, but looks like she's over 60.

She lives at home with cats.

And she has never been kissed.

Personally I find that what happened to her was wonderful and really touching.

You people should really be ashamed of yourselves. Great way to make yourselves look like uncaring assholes.

@mat1cs: It's a marked improvement from "black man in suit = defendant" isn't it? I think it's a decent likeness for a Sims character creator, though the hair looks a bit thicker than the real Obama.

She's only world famous now because no one expected her to be able to sing since she looked like a crazy old cat woman, honestly I think its stupid the craze for her. Yeah she is a good singer but just because she looked like a tramp she's the best thing since Jesus fused with Moses?
