Was expecting something like this to happen. This is bad because theywill try to market over the west with a full price tag attached to it, and even with extras, thats highway roberry for someon eliek me who, even if a minority, already has all of these GC titles in their original form. They should never codt more then 30€, being the ideal price 20€, really. But if sales like Mario Tennis prove to become a trend, truly there no stoping Nintendo, like this Kirk poster im so fond of:
Yes, the overall climate of Sinnoh is a lot colder than in the last two games. Which is why the two protagonists and the rival now wear warmer clothing (but will someone tell Dawn that a long sweater with no pants is really impractical?).
A few Pokémon get new forms (Giratina, Shaymin, and Rotom), which does result in their stats and techniques being changed. Both Dialga and Palkia can be caught. The GTS can now send you emails to update you on any trades being made.
There really is a lot changed... Best to just go here to read all the changes made.
At least they aren't trying to sell it at full price (see: Prince of Persia: Rival Swords).
Nor are they trying to disguise it as being an all-new game (despite what bangbangblah may think). I mean, come on. The name is still Mario Tennis GC in Japan...
It's just filler while they finish up new games. Sheesh, nothing to panic over.
@MyLittlePwny: I know, right... I mean, I just heard someone in my class say Sony was phasing it out because it wasn't beating DS... Because the only way something is successful is if it beats its competitors...
Archaoticに: Really? It beat out Lost Odyssey? Geez... Wonder how FFXIII will fare... If FFXIII doesn't sell, then we all know what would sell Japan on high def RPGs... The Remake of FF7.
@CatboyMac's angry girlfriend: Different companies (might) hold the licenses to Tatsunoko characters here in the states, Capcom would have to obtain/buy permission from all of them to use the likenesses in the game before it could be released.
@Zegridathes: They're trying though. I wouldn't hold my breath, but they claim they are making efforts to get it over here, so at least they're giving it a shot.
I actually enjoy fighting games. Something like this, having a storyline (unlike Tekkens), real-time strategy, and the like should not be not released here.
@Archaotic: Yeah, but it's silly considering I'll want to actually understand what the hell is going on. Horrible voice dubs and all.
And... I liked Ehrgeiz for what it was. Imagine if it WAS reimagined in this generation on the PS3 with EXTREEEME graphics. *dreams of freya vs. kain, dies*

Personally I just want a new game, not a rehash of the current generation.
I miss being able to go through Johto AND Kanto in a single game, Gold and Silver were amazing games.
@ph15h~!: I liked Yellow, having Pikachu follow you around was really cute. :>

Lost Odyssey didn't do too hot on the Japanese charts, at least. It did fine over here, but in Japan it was about 230k, I believe.

PSPs are region-free, y'know. :O
It's a really fun game, definitely not the Ehrgeiz 2.0 the haters were saying it was gonna be.
