It wasn't just an A's and Giants game, it was the World Series, and it was the Battle of the Bay. I was totally there. Well, in Santa Rosa. Crazy quake, went home and watched the news all night.

"Disaster Report" for PS2 is a game that is all about surviving multiple environmental disasters...among them a handful of earthquakes. It's actually a pretty good game, too.

Any of the godzilla fighters or that rampage game, every step the monsters make in those games is a little earthquake.

ahh, cant remember the name but the godzilla fighting game on the gamecube remains one of my fondest recent gaming memories.

I suggest you try and grab some copies of "SOS : Final Escape" and "Raw Danger" on the PS2. Both games are a little rough around the edges but there's allot of very cool moments and features in there =)

Now that really is hard esp if that term is generalized, don't a lot of Final fantasy games have the 'earthquake' spell (pretty sure some of them have earthquake events such as Mideel in FF7), as does Heroes of Might and magic as a spell.
I think Golden Sun begins with an earthquake.
Then there's the really old obscure game (written in BASIC) San Francisco Earthquake (It's a text-based game) but probably hard to find considering it's from some point in the 80s.

@WhatTheFrag: I believe Golden Sun begins with an earthquake... Part of the opening sequence I think. If not the djinni will be able to cast earthquake and you might enjoy golden sun better than any old FF game.

If I said Today is Tuesday, April 20.
Lets remember the Columbine High School massacre by playing counterstrike do you think that would make a good post?
Exactly some things are funny others not so much.

@WiNg0o: It's a valid opinion. I don't think that an event resulting in the deaths of over 60 people should be dismissed trivially. By the same token, had AJ not mentioned it, I wouldn't have spared a single thought for those people. While the execution may have lacked a certain grace, the end result, in my opinion, justifies the article.

When I first started playing Sim City 2000 I had no idea there were any utilities in the game beyond electricity, as in the first game.

I built many a huge metropolis sparsely populated by thirsty Sims before I noticed the cool new water pipe function.

They have been working with a lot of forums in the SC community - still alive after all these years - doing researches, polls, what they think it's important, what isn't. I think their main strategy is to get EA's orphans, myself included.
