    Aside from the obviously brilliant suggestions above of a hoverboard, let's see what other games can benefit from this.


    How about:


    What-a-mole?

    Taiko no Tatsujin? (let the floor be the drum?)

    DDR (might be a bit limited though)

    WarioWare (whack, ride, jump-on, etc.)


    Any other ideas?

    @D-K, owhoo... how unfortunate..: That's actually not a bad idea.


    Though if you do the bobsled as a single person with your chest on the board, I'm not sure if it's ergonomic enough. Plus the lower part of your body will either lie on the floor or hang in the air. :-D

    So that makes it...skateboard, snowboard, surfboard, silver surfer, hobgoblin, 5 games you can play with it.


    Woooooooow.


    Makes me think of one of those 5-in-1 gaves which you just plug in directly into the TV and you can play different games which are just in theory the exact game with a few differences.

    I've never read the comics, but in the movie (which I'm not holding as the be-all/end-all truths here) claims that the power does indeed come from the board, and the Surfer simply channels it.

    Like I said, never read the comic books so I'm not claiming it as truth, but it would seem stupid to think that the movie didn't use the comics as source material.

    @Gyaruson: Sadly the movie did not follow the comics on this one, although it made it much easier for Doom to steal his powers I guess by just taking his surfboard. The surfboard more accurately derives it's power from him and his will.

    Hmm, So you control the Silver Surfer, a guy that surfs trough zero gravity, with a board that mights as well be bolted to the ground...


    Right...


    The best i could see this board do, is to be a hoverboard in-game, such is in Unreal Tournament.

    @Slust: Well, in the cartoon he goes in literrally all directions.. From what i know the board goes left and right, while stationairy. I should add I'm not acounting for surfer kickflips.. -_-


    It could be percieved as somewhat negative but still, i just can't imagine this turning out good.
