<![CDATA[Red Alert 3 Features Woman Who Could Easily Kill You]]> Help me please. I am not sure if I am supposed to be excited by EliteXC fighter and American Gladiator Gina Carano, dressed up to portray deadly Soviet commando Natasha (because they only have one girl's name in the Soviet Union) in Command & Conquer Red Alert 3.

On the one hand, she really is doing amazing things to that tight shorts and tiny jacket ensemble, and the gun adds a certain something. She is rather pretty and well-spoken for someone who beats up other people for a living.

On the other hand, she beats up other people for a living and could probably kill me with an errant thought, or hell, even on accident, like some terrifying all grown-up Elmira from Tiny Toons, hugging and squeezing me until I die.

Phew, nevermind. Invoking Tiny Toons always cancels out any excitement...well, unless we're talking mink.

ELITEXC FIGHTER AND AMERICAN GLADIATOR GINA CARANO TO APPEAR IN COMMAND & CONQUER RED ALERT 3

She has left opponents lying defeated in the cages of EliteXC mixed martial arts competitions and would-be contenders gasping for air throughout Gladiator Arena in American Gladiators. And now America’s “Crush” is ready to lay waste to the battlefields in Command & Conquer Red Alert 3.

Electronic Arts announced today that rising star and undefeated EliteXC MMA fighter Gina Carano will be starring as Natasha, a deadly Soviet commando, in Red Alert 3, one of the most anticipated strategy games of the year coming to the PC and Xbox 360 this holiday season. Carano will not only appear in person and in high-definition as Natasha as part of Red Alert 3’s live-action movies, but will also be featured digitally as a playable unit in the game.

“The last year has been such a whirlwind for me, from everything that’s happening with EliteXC this weekend to American Gladiators and now with EA and Red Alert 3,” said Carano. “Natasha is such a cool, powerful character, her actions definitely speak louder than her words which is something I definitely identify with. I can’t wait to see how everything turns out and I hope all of the gamers out there have a great time wreaking havoc as me.”

Carano can be seen tomorrow night headlining the undercard on CBS during EliteXC’s “Saturday Night Fights”, the first MMA card to air on broadcast network television and every Monday night on NBC slamming would-be contenders as “Crush” on NBC’s popular American Gladiators series. Carano joins a prestigious list of stars that have crossed over to appear in the Command & Conquer franchise’s trademark live-action video movies, including: James Earl Jones (Star Wars), Josh Holloway (Lost), Billy Dee Williams (Star Wars), Michael Biehn (The Terminator, Aliens), Natasha Henstridge (Species), Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica), Jennifer Morrison (House), and Michael Ironside (Top Gun).

Hear more from Carano on her upcoming fight and her first foray into the world of video games in Red Alert 3 in this month’s episode of BattleCast PrimeTime on Command & Conquer TV, debuting today at noon PDT at www.commandandconquer.com, the home of everything C&C. And stay tuned for more announcements surrounding the star-studded cast of Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 this summer.

<![CDATA[The E3 Killzone 2 Invite]]>

I just received a very swank looking black envelope (it even had my name and Kotaku written in silver foil) in the mail. Inside was this very stark invitation. On the back? A time, date and a location during E3 and the Playstation logo. Obviously, this has got to be for Killzone PS3, but what is it? It's got to be a hands-on for Killzone PS3? Right? I mean SCEA did already say at Gamer's Day that Killzone for the PS3 would be shown at this year's E3. Oh, and it's two and a half hours long.

<![CDATA[Zoozen Transforms the 360]]> Hong Kong video game accessory company Zoozen is looking to change the face of the Xbox 360, and I'm not talking a simple faceplate change or shell swap out. Their new Ovo 360 shell is a complete and total refit for the console, which removes the guts, replaces some parts, and leaves you with something that looks like it would be quite at home on as spaceship as well as strapped to the underside of a tricked-out Nissan Sentra.
This model is only a prototype mind you, and the company's web site does warn that this might never go into actual production, which would be a terrible shame. The more I look at the sleek and sexy design the uglier my retail 360 gets.

<![CDATA[Day Note: Sexy, Sexy, Sexy]]> To: Brian Ashcraft
From: Brian Crecente
Subject: Catch!!

Alright, site is stable, nothing broken, stories are humming along. I expect to see everything in it's place when I get back tomorrow morning.

Today in a nutshell:
Jack bulletproof, but still a tool
Second Life numbers inflated, but still damn sexy
Pointing Fish like CGI boobs, but who doesn't

Turns out that whole "Konami is going to post earth shattering news on Monday" was a mix-up. I talked to a couple of my peeps over there and they say they were talking about the stuff they announced on Friday. Whoops, good thing we didn't post it.

Oh, about that whole Night Editor promotion item. I was going to do it, but McWhertor said he had "plenty of pictures of you" so I thought it was best if he did. Why is it you guys always share a room when we travel?

I'm hoping to finish off my whole Whores of Warcraft story... make that Whorecraft story today or tomorrow. I think I'm putting it off because I like telling people that I'm working on a story about women dressed as elves having sex. I even told my boss at the Rocky... I almost said something during a staff meeting... maybe I should finish it before I get fired, or sued, or sued and fired.

Hey, do you think the fact I put sexy, sexy, sexy in the headline got people to read this?

<![CDATA[Gamer Makes Wired's Sexiest Geek List]]>

The early nominees for Wired.Com's sexy geek list didn't include Jade Raymond and it bothered me to distraction. Fortunately, the final list of ten has her smack dab in the middle.

Sure she may not have demoted Pluto to a dwarf, have a degree in applied physics from Stanford or is helping push forward the first human clinical trials involving embryonic stem cells in the U.S., but look at that smile.

Jade Raymond is gorgeous, no doubt, and it's no surprise that like several other attractive women, she's a co-host on G4. But Raymond carries serious geek cred as a game programmer who this year produced Assasin's Creed for the PS3, which incorporates awesomely realistic crowd gameplay.

Congrats Jade, here's to you making it in the top five.
