Segata Sanshiro is back! We know that the greatest video game ad man is appearing in the Sega meets Namco Bandai meets Capcom collaboration title, Project X Zone 2. Yesterday in Tokyo, the game’s producer Kensuke Tsukanaka said that it was Namco Bandai who originally wanted Segata Sanshiro in the game. Interesting!
Project X Zone 2 is a strategy RPG that’s a little nuts. It stars characters from Mega Man, and Resident Evil, and Devil May Cry, and even Yakuza. Most excitingly, though, it will also star console mascot and personal role model Segata Sanshiro.
If you think I mean Sonic, get out. And don't come back.
The only thing better than Segata Sanshiro, Sega's greatest creation, is when people pay tribute to Segata Sanshiro.
