Yeah, turn tables. They're used quite a bit and readily available for order.
Heaven forbid you give this record to a scratch artist though. I would KILL you.

Vinyl records are regularly sold in lost of record stores again. There's been a resurgence in popularity in Vinyl, no doubt using it as a way to bribe people into buying albums again.

Ive accepted that America won't ever get the cool bundles, pre order bonuses etc. Because they know we'll just buy it anyway.

As far as Sega goes... I don't think they've ever done a preorder bonus. Ever.
As far as who gets what... ranked in order of best to worst:
Japan > US > UK > Everywhere else.
Japan of course gets a bonus for everything... or at least nicer bonuses than the US. The US gets bonuses, but they're usually only a part of what Japan got. The UK doesn't get many preorder bonuses, but they're usually the same as the US ones when they get them. Everywhere else (Australia included) they don't usually get anything in the way of preorder bonuses. In other words, yes, I could whine that the US preorder bonuses are usually only a soundtrack or an artbook when in Japan they get the soundtrack, artbook, a huge sack of money, a car, and 5,000 faceplates, but... at least we get anything at all here.
And I do believe Australia is very much deserving of such a neat bonus... however, my only issue with this bonus at all is... does anyone even have a turntable anymore? ^^;;

Fame at last - I got my name on Kotaku.
I just walked over to one of the producers on the title and he kindly let me take a look at the game on his monitor.
I can confirm that the visuals are reformatted into 16:9 with no stretching. Have a look at the screenshots we released with the announcement
I've asked for some comparison shots, so will hopefully be able to show you the difference soon.
Cheers for your support guys.

Going to be an annoyance to have to set your entire console to 4:3 in order to get the correct display for the games.

It would be a little ridiculous to say that stretching the image = wide screen display. Although that's what TBS HD does when it shows Seinfeld reruns. So you never know.

Ba-dum tisch!

Same goes for Seinfeld, which was shot on 35 mm.

I was going to correct your "Ba-dum tisch", but then I realised that I have no idea how to render a slap bass into words.
On topic: want Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusion please Sega.

So Sega is releasing the same compilation again. Yeah, face it, you can get most of these games in a compilation already. I won the one Sega made for PSP, and I've never felt the overcompelling pull to get the collection for PS2, though I would like to play Sonic 2 with a friend on a consol.
But Sega has done this already. I love compilation, but by now it's getting ridicolous. They need to update the list quite a bit more to warrant a full price, and not only with Genesis/Mega Drive. I want Saturn games as well, Sega CD too. Saturn is obscure now and the games are hard to get, so don't Sega realize there's more nostaliga/curiosity to collect from such a collection?
We need a Sega Collection, not just the same Mega Drive games over and over again. And add online play; it's pretty much a must nowadays.

I'll definitely be getting this. Shining Force? Hell yeah! Wonder if they will be re-formatted to 16:9. It would seem odd if they didn't, considering that they went threw all the trouble of presenting them in HD.
