Ubisoft handed out packs of these four Raving Rabbids at this year's Ubidays. I'm not a huge schwag fan myself, but these managed to melt even my cold heart. And yes, we're sorry Ubisoft, turns out Sam Fischer did make an appearance at your show.

I received my copy of Grand Theft Auto IV today from Rockstar and tucked inside the box along with the game was this pretty damn cool replica of Liberty City's Statue of Happiness. Note how well it blends in with my other bobbles?

Yesterday Pandemic announced that free-ranging shooter Mercenaries 2 will be hitting stores on Aug. 31. Which is pretty cool, but what's really cool is the newspaper I received from them today.

The copy of the Venezuela Ahora, dated Aug. 31., announces the invasion of Venezuela by Mercenaries in a headline that stretches across the paper in two lines. Underneath is an explosive image of three of the, I don't know, anti-heroes? And a full story. The faux paper also includes a weather report clasificicado, ads and even an little Mercenaries-themed comic strip. You gotta love it... unless your in Venezuela and have a stick up your ass.

Pursuit Force's Pimp Schwag

Pursuit Force Extreme Justice hits tomorrow. What I played of the demo I quite liked, which is surprising because I hated the original game. My early copy, which arrived at my door today, came with this Pimp Glass, sunglasses and fingerless gloves. Hold on there guys, you're mixing your seventies references and it's about to blow my mind. Either throw in a pimp stick and robe or make with the fake Magnum stache.

When we posted a brief note about an upcoming Capcom playtesting session in the Bay Area of California, reader Justme8800 heeded the call. In addition to getting hands-on time with an unnamed Capcom game—no, we couldn't squeeze it out of him—he walked away with all this stuff.

This Eye of Judgment schwag isn't just neat, it actually is useful. Sony sent me a black faux leather sack and a metal card carrying case. You put your Eye of Judgment deck in the case and then slip the case into a tiny pocket sewn into the sack. I assume you put the head of your defeated enemy in the rest of the bag after the game... or maybe it's for carting around the camera, stand and playfield. Neah, its gotta be for the heads.

E For All may have been a bit of a dud for the enthusiast press attendee, as I had personally spent time with over 90% of the software on hand at previous events, but in terms of Pac-Man themed candy? E For All was a blockbuster hit. After a harrowing experience at the show's "press hospitality suite" in which I was horrified to discover that not a single bartender or Thai masseuse was on staff, I realized it wasn't a total loss. Pac-man lollipops! Yes, please! I uttered the Kotaku battlecry—"This is a post!"—upon finding these, a welcome, sweet oasis when my bloodsugar was at its lowest. Thank you, Namco Bandai Games, for your fabulous candy on a stick.

It's about time. Someone finally sent me that straitjacket that my frequent outbursts and bizarre behavior have been crying out for, for years. Granted, it's meant to be just a bit of Manhunt 2 schwag from Rockstar, but I think I can put it to good use... now to go convert our spare bedroom into a quiet room.

I just received a package today. Inside was a portable record player, a riddle and a red record from the "Riggs Records" label. The record is a single by Tainted Coil called Corpse of Hope.

Growing up in the 80s I knew immediatly there had to be a message hidden on the record if I played it backwards, I didn't even have to read the riddle. But while I've found the message I can't quite make it out. It seems to repeat three or four times something about Legends or Legend. And no, I don't think I hear the words Guitar Hero.
