oh man, surprise, guys - foreigners can live in Japan, too! And some of them speak JAPANESE!
As one of the "every other foreigner"s living in Japan, I feel like it's bad enough having most Japanese people assume you don't speak a word of the language without people outside of the country making the same accusations. It's even more disheartening to see it here on Kotaku where Ashcraft provides living, constant proof that not every foreigner who comes to Japan is some clueless white guy.
Not many of them here to be honest, so I think most Japanese people don't have a strong opinion either way. Not even very many Mexican or Tex-Mex restaurants in Tokyo despite the 30million people in the metropolitan area.
But Mexican food (esp. tacos) are getting more popular here, so maybe there is a general positive feeling?
Kaz is alright. I just fear that he's a bit too business oriented, while Kutaragi was always about the most powerful, ambiguous and unique console architecture.
@Acebuckeye13: He does say crazy stuff, but as for that one... if the cost to build a PS3 was higher than the retail price, then wouldn't he be right? >.>
@FillionSmythe: according to the responses to your comment, it doesnt sound too bad. infact, i'd like something on my feet that gives me the full force of walking and earth shaking in games. get to it interwebpeepzorz@
@Jandlecack: after a while ofcourse, dreams do come true. so my dream of SUPER MUTATED WAR TOAD SUPER MEN WITH RADIATION FEET MAY FINALLY BECOME OF AGE! BWAHAHAHAHA *ribbit*.

Anyhoo, I'm a bit confused really. So Howard Stringer is the CEO of Sony? Isn't Sony a Japanese company?

I'd settle for
The goal of this new group is to "go to SCEE and poke them with a stick to see if they are really dead or just asleep."
Or
The goal of this new group is to "notice that the internet does in fact get everywhere and release HOME stuff worldwide simultaneously."

Or pelted with rice. And toast.
Just like going to Rocky Horror!

Now I would need the money and room to set up whatever devices needed to experience it. Arctic thunder FTW.

I'm waiting for true responsive motion controls... not this light based nonsense that is temperamental.
Like that, this can be great if they work it out correctly.
