Six different "sound drops" are available playing such classic Zelda sounds as the Rupee discovery sound, the bow and arrow and the Heart container sound. Gene has already figured out multiple uses for his purchases which he was more than willing to share with us.

They're great fun. Playing the 'discovery' sound when you find some old leftovers in the fridge, playing the prize sound when you find 100yen down the back of the couch, and playing the phantom sounds when your boss nearly catches you on youtube at work.

Video Games: providing the soundtrack of our lives. If you'd like to hear what each one sounds like, Gene has thoughtfully provided us with a YouTube clip of samples.

<![CDATA[A Little Secret Zelda Cross Stitch]]>

Just because Eliza and Florian are gone does not mean that we have abandoned our love for a good crafts. Much like them I love to sit down with a nice cup of Earl Grey tea and peruse the internet looking for grandma style video game crafts to amuse myself. Well, I needed to look no further than my email this morning for this little piece of Zelda inspired handy work.

I made this for my brother as a xmas present. He always liked the good moblins that gave you money when we played Legend of Zelda as kids. NES sprites work well as cross stitch. They're surprisingly time-consuming to make though. I've spent several days worth of free time stitching this guy. I think it's worth it, however.

Oh yeah, did I mention a guy made this? Way to go, man! Don't let those old fashioned social moire's keep you from enjoying your crafts! Cross Stitch: It's not just for old ladies anymore!

<![CDATA[HOOOOOO! Hard Gay Tribute in Tingle]]>

The cam isn't too shaky, and the pelvic thrusts are absolutely authentic: could this be a tip-o-the-assless-chaps to supergreen Japanese television personality Hard Gay? God I hope so.

Game|Life says:

I've been continuing my excursion into the off-kilter world of Tingle's Rose-Colored Rupee Whatever. I bring to you this evening news that there is, in the game's second level, a character whose overtones make the green-spandexed Tingle look positively hetero.

It's Duke, the short-legged-no-shirt-overalls-straight-out-of-The Village People construction worker! Who communicates primarily by way of thrusting his pelvis.
