Still, the game is awesome when you get past the stiff controls and horrible voice acting near the beginning.
"This is baby!" You who played knows what character I'm talking about. lol

Maybe I should give it a second look?
I got to the part where you first leave the first city and are riding the horse around...
...then I got lost and frustrated and never played it again.
But it was at least enjoyable? Keep in mind that I'm not really picky, I just enjoy a good game and its sitting on my shelf, unplayed.

A few hours into AC2, I can say it is, literally, everything I loved about the first and nothing that I hated. Definitely pick it up.

Apparently galloping or even trotting is illegal in the kingdom of Heaven.
Of course, I just killed everyone, but still. Speeding my ass.
There was a map IIRC.

If you're the type that likes to stop and smell the roses in games, and enjoys games for the experience and the story, I'd give it another whirl.
It gets a lot more interesting when you get to the cities and get to roam around and advance the plotline.
In terms of finding your way, head to one of the city icons on the edge of the map. It's been a while since I played, so I can't give you a direction. But once you've run through it a couple times and uncovered most of the map from the towers, you'll rarely get lost again.

Please stop releasing good games until I get some money, or give me money.
Sincerely

Dear OW-Holmes,
We received your mail. In response, no. We will not give you money nor will we stop releasing good games. Might I suggest you whore yourself to some fat chicks for money. Charge them at least $60. Then you can buy our games. Fat chicks need love too.
Sincerely,
The Game Industry

Dear OW Holmes,
Recently, we sent you a letter regarding a suggestion that you sleep with some fat chicks for money. We have come up with a few more ideas that involve selling your organs on the black market, or turning to male prostitution and sucking dick for fifties in the alley behind the local red lobster. Obviously, your ass is currently out of order, as we have not finished with it ourselves, yet.
Because your wallet is back there, obviously, is what we mean.
Sincerely,
The Game Industry

What with MW2, Dragon Age, Borderlands, and AC@ coming out now, I think this game will hit the sale rack a little faster then L4D1 since sales will be lower what with all the competition. #left4dead2

But yeah, I know it probably would have been better if I'd gotten it on the PC. But this is L4D2, and that's a different kettle of zombie fish. #left4dead2

4 player is hard, because you can really screw each other over very easily. The screen zooms out if someone lags behind or runs off ahead of the pack, so you need some decent hardware to view it on, otherwise it's hard to tell where you are sometimes. that just made it more fun for us, because that person would usually die in short order.
Having a negative continue counter would also detract from the experience too, because you'd never be able to keep 4 people at the same level of lives to make it to the end.
All in all, a must have to play 4 players. #newsupermariobroswii

Now the controls even feel pretty tight, even though propeller Mario has jumped a few times unexpectedly (I don't swing, tilt, jolt, etc. the controller when I play...) Being able to do things like break a block, then jump up into the gap, start a wallslide, and kick off it onto the upper level, it feels almost like they got a bit of Strider in my Mario... and that's awesome. #newsupermariobroswii
