@pandafresh: Yea, I knew what you meant. I was just messing around. I don't know when the next time I buy a game at full retail price will be. After joining CAG a while ago and finding great deals on new releases within a week of their release made me realize how foolish I was to pay full price. Right now (sale ends today) you can get 25% off your whole order at Spun.com when you sign up for their free membership program. I'm going to trade in some games for a combined total of $60 credit. Then I'm going to pre-order MW2 and buy Fifa 10, which, after the 25% off, comes to $90. $90 minus my $60 credit equals $30 for 2 new releases :) #grandtheftautochinatownwars
dammit. I bought a D.S. to play Hotel Dusk & GTA Chinatown Wars. And now they've released this prettier version on the PSP, and I can't justify paying for it again. It's wildly addictive, and just a great homage to some of the earlier GTA titles. Are others buying this? Even if they have the D.S. edition? I like my stylus control! #grandtheftautochinatownwars
@dreamfall: Stylus controlled minigames were implemented in the best possible way imaginable, not noticeable and adding to the main driving and combat gameplay. Would anyone really need a second copy on a different platform? #grandtheftautochinatownwars
This is a great idea, but it doesn't make much sense if the in game economy in Chinatown Wars is as broken as in the other GTA games. Is money really an issue in them? It never is the way I play them at least.
Fahey, The talking canine companion does exist. That's how I get all the news. I call the little guy Scoops, which, for a reporter dog, is a double entendre
You know things are bad when people seem proud to be pirating assholes.
Anyway, I'm making mad cash with the drug dealing in Chinatown Wars as it is. I could use a bit more though, I suppose. Been keeping an eye on this safehouse on the island. ^_^
@AndrosZ: If you have a legal copy then you shall have with it many nubile members of the gender of your choice, your every whim shall be catered for and the universe shall open its secrets up to you alone.
An illegal copy means you shall linger for eternity enduring whatever punishment may be met out to you according to the tenets of your chosen belief system (if you do not have a belief system one may be assigned to you by the state).
Anyway... On topic, I found it surprisingly easy to earn money is quite easy in Chinatown Wars. Drug dealing is very lucrative (if occasionally dangerous), and it doesn't take long to buy cribs all over town and a huge arsenal from AmmuNation.
@AndrosZ: hmm...interesting question. I wonder if linking content like this is enough to, if not deter piracy, then at the very least encourage people to buy the game instead of pirate.
@Antiterra: Really? Because I was using it to acknowledge the success of Rockstar's point of making sure only people with legal copies could participate. Maybe I used it wrong, but I just think you wanted to be a dick.
@AndrosZ: Or is yours? Jesus... Deflect all you want, your use of the word in your first post was still plain fucking wrong. Which makes it hilarious when you then tell others to look things up. :)
@Antiterra: It wasn't, but please continue to rail on as if you needed to prove you were superior to everyone else. I mean, I'm sure you have that little star next to your name for a valid reason. For you see, when someone doesn't have a valid point or comment to make they usually attack grammar.
@AndrosZ: That's strange. In my experience, when somebody doesn't have a valid point or comment to make, they get all defensive and start making personal attacks.
@Jeremy Hall: I HAD a illegal copy, you know just to see if I liked it... But then I found I did like it and ran out to buy it.... so now I have it legally =)

Are you just intent on going to war with the entire commenter base? You won't last long enough to get that second friend.

Reminds me of a scene in The 25th Hour:
"Funny you should say that."
"Why? Why is it funny I should say that?"
"What you say, it was funny."
